Hey man I’ve got a couple Tippmanns and I’d like to swap out the charging handles but I thought they were a propiatry piece or have I been wrong if they are where did you find yours at 🙏
Funny, 22 is my favorite caliber. Some people just want the biggest hardest kicking caliber but 22 is fun, cheap, reliable, and functional. I have a plethora of different calibers but I always go back to 22, it just has a fun factor a lot of the others lack
It is the same company. Tippman makes paintball guns, airsoft, and .22s. The very fact that he said its his favorite gun and he didn't do the research to know that, and says no its not the same company is just beyond me
@@methodical_66, it is, in fact, not the same company? Sure, they are closely related, but the company that manufactures AR22 is under the name Tippmannarms, and the company that manufactures paintball guns and airsoft is under the name Tippmann.
Tippmann was in the gun business long before paintball was invented. I have one of his very first paintball guns from the 80s. They produced a miniature 50cal on a tripod that shot 22lr from a cloth belt before the gun laws changed in the 80s
Hey, I'm looking between the HK, S&W MP 15 & this one in the video. How reliable has that HK been for you & how many rounds have you gone without cleaning? Trying to get a cheap 22AR to practice before getting something bigger like an AK. Would I be wasting my money on a 22AR or should I just go ahead & get that AK or similar firearm? Any advice is appreciated
@@dbzownz12345you cant go wrong with the HK / 15-22 or the tippmans, I was gonna get a 15-22, than saw the HK and was really close, than found the tippmans, than found a 15-22 pistol for $300 with 3 mags and irons and figured it was perfect for the kid's first gun, I can always upgrade to a tippman if necessary
I own 2 of em the same as his except it’s black and the pistol version the shorter barreled one anyways love em both they run great with my mix bag of bulk 22 ammo
Got mine 3 years ago and absolutely love it. Only problem I had was that the pic rail on the receiver casting was not good at all. Had to add a short monstrum to make it work right. The barrel end was perfect but they would not do anything about the receiver casting. Oh well , got it to work and it is a blast.
No bashing from me brother! These rifles are by far the best ar platform 22 available! No contest, end of story. I put a Holosun hs510c with a Holosun 3x magnifier on mine. Great video. I enjoy mine just as much as you do 👍
By far the best? I disagree that it is any better than my setup. I would argue the tippmann and my PSA 22 upper is pretty equal. I built a lower for it and threw in a geisselle SSA-E trigger and a holosun 510c along with the bettermag adapter so i can run the far superior 15-22 mags. It is an straight up awesome setup and thousands of round no failures other than ammo that refused to go bang here and there. I also want to note that I do also own a tippmann elite model m4 22 with a holosun 510c. The only reason I do not own 2 PSA upper built platforms is because hwen i wanted a second they were on backorder at PSA with no eta and the tippmann seemed to be the closest thing to it and I have to say It is great but any better than my psa upper ? nah. They are also both pretty much on par as far as accuracy goes also.
Much cheaper to train on the .22lr platform and when I take my grandkids out it's what I let them run drills with Never to young for .22 got my first at age 12 and handed my Red Rider down to my Lil sis
So I misspoke in the video, tippmann ( the now paintball company) used to make firearms and transitioned into paintball but now offer the M-4 22. It is owned by the same company. Sorry for the confusion 👍
Did you keep the stock trigger? If you changed it, which one did you swap to? I have the redline version, recoil impulse is 5.56 feel while a m&P 15-22 does not have the same feel.
I put a James Madison Tactical Black ops trigger in mine and I love it. Advertised as 3.5-4 lbs, but I have not confirmed that. Functions fine in my m4 elite. Good drop in trigger for around 100 bucks. Check it out.
find it funny in UK we can actually get these with stocks and 12.5 inch barrels obviously aslong as you have your Fire Arms Certificate without having to pay for a "TAX STAMP" and a suppressor both our fire arms laws are weird, just wish we could have proper pistols and full bore self loading rifles.
Thanks for the insite, I'm not very familiar with the laws over there so interesting! Don't worry they're trying to destroy our gun laws here unfortunately. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it!!

Can't go wrong with the standard tippmann m4-22. There are a few variations of them to choose from but they all run great. Most are different lengths color ect.. All function very well
Cant beat the price of ammo. In CA and I have Smith and Wesson AR with 5.56 and I am forced to be featureless which is just stupid, but an AR with 22lr doesnt have to follow those rules. I dont get it. You can still kill with a 22.
Forward assist is mandatory for hunting. Soft loading is absolutely necessary and to stop light strikes the seating must be good. My tippmann is moderated with trigger tech diamond, the thing holds 1/2 inch @50m for five shots using of all things 45grn CCI supressor hollow points, and cycles flawlessly! It's my 8th semi auto 22 and I swore I was done with them on number 7 (custom 10-22 target that would choke on less than the first mag though the accuracy was fab). But a mate put me on to Tippmann and I am over the moon with it, even if in the UK it is £900..! Yep that's about $1100...! serious bendover!
Jeez!! And I thought they were expensive here! But I agree with everything you said! It's so functional and I love transitioning between that and a 5.56 all the same other than a slight recoil increase. Great training / hunting platform! Thanks for watching!👍
