ESOULA lol I call it pop too. I'm like right outside Canada, upper Michigan. We say literally all the Canadian words including "pop" I'm never going to call it soda😂😂
Maybe it's just where I'm from in canada, but anyone who I've met sounds American. I say sorry the US way, and I say about the US way. I've never heard people who actually say Sorey and aboot lol... (From Vancouver BC)
I hear the Canadian accent sorey, but I am from London Ontario, Southern Ontario girl accent I guess. Milks in bags, we have our own set of vocabulary lol. But I'm out living in Calgary, still hear the accent tho depends on where and who I guess. 🇨🇦❤️🍁
"Americans" don't all say it the same way haha... I call it whatever the actual name is, some call it pop, some call it soda and others just "coke" no matter what it is ha
+Hope Matheson not people from DC, if you go there and listen to the accent its the same as the neutral English speaker on google translate/microsoft bill/whatever other computer software that emulates neutral english
Melanie Stephens ha-ha I know it seems stupid but the voice in Google translate actually does sound like people I know from DC, and America doesn't have one accent :p southerners don't sound like New Englanders
What I think you meant is we don't have the accent Americans think we do. ( We talk like them. They talk like us. And we occasionally have different words for things, like pop. )
In from North East England and I say "a-bow-t" and "s-O-rry" like the way it's spelt and I say pop, or fizzy drink but never ever soda, which could be like soda water but then I'd just say that - I'm with shay all the way! Haha
Amelia Van Vliet Same I live in Ottawa and I don't say "aboot" but apparently I say sorry the Canadian way lol I didn't know there was more than one way
OMG my coworkers make so much fun of me at work because I say pop! Shay, I completely understand. The sad thing is.. I was born and raised in Missouri. Lol.
actually if you think about it... the supposed accent they are talking about sounds more like a british english accent more than anything. if they had an accent it would most likely be a french accent because canada at once was taken over by them a long time ago or something related out of what i remember from school
Ashley: "You owe me a soda!"
Shay: "you mean pop"
Ashley: "That's disgusting"
LMAOOOOOO
ESOULA lol I call it pop too. I'm like right outside Canada, upper Michigan. We say literally all the Canadian words including "pop" I'm never going to call it soda😂😂

Madyson Dickerson yeah I'm Canadian and I say pop I literally don't know anyone who says soda.
The Gaming Girl Since when?? I'm from the UK and have never said pop 😂

Amaya Belle relatable to me!!
Amaya Belle yess
when you’re American and just read all these comments in your worst British impression. 😁😂💀
when shay says sorry and toque in the same sentence it's the most Canadian thing ever
tu no ablas español
What does toque mean cause I’ve heard her say it before and since I’m a spanish native speaker I think she’s saying tu que
Emily Baez well in french its called a tuque its just a hat w a pompom basically its gr8 4 the winter ay 👍
Emily Baez like a tight knit cap, worn in the winters to keep your head warm, lots of snowboarders where them if you can picture that 💁🏻
Megan it was weird reading your comment because I've never explained what a toque is, everyone just knew. 🤔
I thought Canadians sounded the same as Americans...
Ruby Almanza for the most part, but they say some of their vowels differently
Ruby Almanza it's really really close. But a slight difference. I don't really hear a difference but hey
Ruby Almanza ya I've never said sorry or about weirdly, I'm pretty sure that's it's an eastern Canada thing. Not 100% sure though
...
I think its an east coast thing, the west has a standard American accent
many people change their accents here in the U.S I think they should just let them speak like that for real they sound great.
you are so right
i think in the U.S. in general, we dont like people speaking English in a different way or with a non American accent lol
@@vondonstrut218 and what about people who are from other countries and go to the U.S?
@@user-bb3mk6pn3z i guess they still dont like cuz of small brain
Shay mitchell is so half-blood! She has Canadian, Filipino, Scottish, Spanish descents:D

Maybe it's just where I'm from in canada, but anyone who I've met sounds American. I say sorry the US way, and I say about the US way. I've never heard people who actually say Sorey and aboot lol... (From Vancouver BC)

"Americans" don't all say it the same way haha... I call it whatever the actual name is, some call it pop, some call it soda and others just "coke" no matter what it is ha
WE DONT HAVE AN ACCENT!! lol
