@@Junior10847 only part that really got me was the door slam scene, since it was one of those rare jumpscares that was legitimately unanticipated. Overall a very nice game to watch. You could tell there was a lot of thought put into every sequence and just the right amount of humor.

I really like the letter at the end. The way he wrote it, tells you that he is sincerly involved in his own projects and really appreciates it if someone invests himself and his spare time. It always puts me in a warm and fuzzy place when the developer acknowledges the other side of the project.

I think some of the most disturbingly scary games are the point and click horror. Exmortis and Shiver will always send a chill down my spine

At Dead of Night is also a really good well done one with really intriguing characters and story.
As someone living in a basement with a bathroom, I can say its mildy terrifying when I run full speed up the stairs on all fours like a demon out of hell. However the sounds of the pipes are the scariest.
What about the light ? I've lived in a basement too for 7 years , with a bathroom and my brother's room next to mine. When the lights would go out my heart would always jump and pound X)

I honestly kinda adore this game, it's so simple and kinda by-the-books, but it really thrives because of that. It's kinda like going to a carnival and just completely overloading yourself on taste sensations, only to come back home and get a glass of water and just being so cleansed and refreshed. This game is definitely water, but god damn is it refreshing.

God DAMN the detail in this game. I loved around 12:09 when the monster was walking toward the stairs, that little double take it did when it saw Mark, like it wasn’t expecting him to be there. The level of detail in this game is incredible!! I hope this dev goes FAR!!!

Basements are the most terrifying thing. I had a nightmare of me being dragged into the basement of my childhood home by some unseen creature. I called out to my parents and my sister as they were walking up the stairs but they couldn't hear me, as I was pulled past the last step I awoke from my nightmare.

Damn, best first game I've ever seen, and its a million times better than most out on the market. Story is great with a twist, simple mechanics. Definitely a one-man-band. Please Mark, if you discover a new game from this dev on Kickstarter, please play it and give it some exposure. I can only imagine things get better from here
I love that even the developer notes are all perfectly in keeping with the overall tone of the game. It somehow makes the experience even more cohesive to have ooc notes still following the same mood and writing style, it's really neat.
The developer is classy. I wanna see more from them.
