Rocket spent the better part of 8 years (1985-93), as guitarist for, John Kay & Steppenwolf. He did 3 studio albums and a live album with the Wolf.

I met Rocket through Ron Hurst stepping wolf drummer and we became close friends by far the most under rated guitarist ever and such a fun loving guy I sure miss him

Good advice, I am a "metal" player but I recently discovered fingerpicking -- I love it. The best bands are ones like Opeth that incorporate multiple genres and twist them together in ways that one would not think is even possible. They do jazz, metal, rock, blues, country, and even classical.
