Family skied there from 72 until it closed. All 7 of us got season passes for $125.00 - $150.00. Might be one reason why they didn't make. That and a couple terrible snow years. Was a really good family area.
That's crazy! It's pretty wild being up there because all the trails are so open still- you can tell it used to be such a cool place!

I've been itching to do this since hiking it two summer's ago, what is the best approach? From guanella pass Rd or from 285?
I highly recommend it! I did it from Guanella pass Rd and it was a pretty easy gradual approach that way.
Maybe a Backcountry Ski Video with Mt. Joy as the background music is what it will take to get my girlfriend interested in slapping skins on
