Always loved - dare I say preferred - the Fleetwood Mac version. The shuffle at the end is really cool. There are lots of lessons for Santana so really pleased to see one that emphasizes the Greeny version

If you’re a guitarist, you can scrabble around the internet looking for buried treasure. You can find plenty of people who will sell you stuff, some of which is aimed at their salesmanship and their income stream rather than at providing value for customers - but some of which is terrific. Its a great lesson as always, we think it's a Major chord (the A chord V) too, and this often happens in a minor key. A raised 7th of the Dm key in there.

There’s some « Sultans of Swing » on the Fleetwood version !
Definitely hear it too. Both songs are in the key of Dm, but Black Magic Woman was recorded by Fleetwood 10yrs before Sultans.
Hello Guys i gotta Question..which Guitar is "easiest to play/handle in your oppinion..a Strat, Tele or SG? i know its maybe a unconventional question..but im intersted in :-)
Im not Justin, but in my opinion SG by a mile ...
Rhythm Guitar on original version is played on a Guitar tuned down a TONE. Which means that the first position E Minor is now a D Minor. The 5th position A minor is now a G Minor. The 7th position B Minor is now an A minor. Lead Guitar is tuned as it normally would be. If you listen carefully you'll note that the Rhythm Guitar is played with a Rake in the feel. NO Lead Parts are played by the Rhythm Guitar on the original version.😮😯😲

Isn’t the last chord an A7 instead Am(7)? A kinda turnaround?
The Santana version replaces all the Am chords with A7, it brings a 'Lift' to the song, similar to the Bm to E7 at the beginning of Hotel California, Sultans of swing also changes the Am to a dominant chord, it's a very popular choice.

Hey Justin! I don't mean to be rude (I reaaally enjoy your content) but I wanted to ask you again if you would do some sort of Tommy Emmanuel lesson? I asked you about a year and a half ago in one of your livestreams where you replied that you were waiting for you two to meet. He would do the lesson like he has done plenty of times, but you would try to slow him down because he sometimes explains thing a bit too fast. I think that that would be really amazing but it's been a lot of time since that livestream so I hope you won't mind asking me again to do a TE lesson. Perhaps without him. There was a lot of family business for him the last couple of months so I don't think that he is going to have the time.

It doesn't go to C-Bm-E7 (or whatever you're playing)....Go to Ultimate Chords and look at the real chords.
Dont believe everything you read in books.

Besides, I've bee playing for 45 years and know by listening that little run down does not exist.
