John Frusciante was a genius at 20. 3 albums droped in Sept of 1991 that changed my life and this was on one of those. I wish Justin would do Power of Equality. That was probobly one of the top 5 opening songs for an album of 1990s

Thanks Justin, I learnt this a few years ago but last year I had a Stroke and when I was in hospital without being too dramatic my first priority was " I REALLY WANTED TO LIVE " and I really wanted to be able to play Guitar again ( LISTEN, I'M NO JUSTIN SANDICOE ) but it brings me great pleasure. So after six months of exercises, tears and a lot of frustration I'm sorting of playing some nice tunes again so this one I'm glad to say is back in my repertoire . I've been reading Dave Davis ( THE KINK'S ) autobiography and he suffered a T.I.A which is like a Stroke and he said just holding his Guitar made him feel better & I agree . SO JUSTIN NOT ONLY ARE YOU A FABULOUS GUITAR TEACHER, YOUR LESSONS HAVE GIVEN A BROKEN OLD MAN BACK SOME PLEASURE AND HIS LIFE SOME DIGNITY AND MEANING. SO I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH. PEACE AND LOVE TO EVERYONE ❤❤.

Hey Justin, thank you for the tutorial. I got a question for you and any reader out here who might be willing to lend some suggestions. How do I practice keeping my wrists moving and counting the bars and changing my fingers at the same time. I am having trouble keeping them in sync. if you have some exercises in mind that could be of help, I would be really grateful. Cheers!

only taken 10 years to get round to this! Meanwhile it's become a classic. Good job, as usual... I notice when he plays acoustically solo, he does a simpler version than the original, quite a lot slower also. Shame to lose the nice twiddly bits in the refrain parts. I tried capo at 5th, playing in C and it seemed to help for the hammer-ons and I managed to get the nice run in as well. My strings are a bit dead currently, so it wasn't too sparkly either... Thanks for the help, if I'm having trouble with a song you're the first place I try..cheers. Undrell
