- Was gonna upload one of the 2 tour pass normals I haven't uploaded yet tonight but then I got THIS about an hour ago, so my plans understandably changed lmao 🥴
My 12th extreme dp is actually done!! This is a HUGE one for me!! I've been reasonably consistent the past couple of days, and I had a couple of pretty close runs today specifically, but I still didn't really think I was gonna get it tonight. This song's a banger, but the chart is a bit of a mess. Stages 1-3 are easy as all hell, pretty much a guaranteed full score once you get to a certain skill level. Stage 4 is VERY drifty, although I think I'm one of few players that actually never really had any trouble with stage 4-I'm a pretty visual player so the drift doesn't bother me so much because I just time them visually anyway. The final stage was my kryptonite, specifically the bass solo. Had a lot of trouble learning the timings for those micros, and then physically staying up to speed with them as well. The rest of the stage isn't easy either, from hold swipes to a huge right-to-left staircase at the end, you can't let your guard down at all
I don't really recommend doing the bass solo the way I did it either, just sorta makes things harder for yourself 🥴 The only reason I can get away with it is because my thumbs are fast, but a much more reliable method is the finger switching technique you see people like Ben Madsen and Jeric Bituin doing. It's a very useful skill to have anyway (and one I'm definitely gonna learn properly), so I highly recommend that method instead
Only 2 left now. It's not gonna be easy but I'm determined to get those perfect avgs 😤💪

Aha I don’t think there’s really an “intended” way to play the microtiles honestly. I’m guessing by “trick” you mean finger-switching, but all that is is a technique, and it’s much more reliable than spamming like I did. I would’ve finger-switched as well, if I knew how to do it properly (and if I wasn’t impatient 😂). Glad to hear it was satisfying though 😌

@@addison6529 Yea final stage the bass solo. It’s killing me every time and I’m super inconsistent with it, I have tried finger switching but on this song it just feels awkward for me
