After CSU investigator Daisy Chao is found murdered in her apartment, Detectives Cyrus Lupo (Jeremy Sisto) and Kevin Bernard (Anthony Anderson) suspect her fiancé may not be telling the whole truth about his involvement with the murder. When young journalist, Emma Kim (Guest Star Camille Chen), is attacked by a cab driver, DNA found at both crime scenes seems to implicate the same man for the attacks.

From a jewelry store robber to later accused of a murder to then stabbing a sexual predator to becoming a detective on an elite squad who's now an ADA, Carisi's really come a long way. (And this is all just fun so don't come with "you do realize those were different characters Peter was playing, right?")
well when he stabbed the predator we learned how evil Lou Grant was because of what did to Mike Tyson.and Jan Brady finally got out of Marica's shadow.

this was a good episode this girl was crazy AF she had Lupo caught up at least for a minute and when she turned to that judge like you said you were gonna help me his WTF face was the best 😂🤣
And then it was pretty genius when Cutter pretended to be interested in her, and she took the bait hook, line, and sinker, and self-destructed showing everyone she was a deranged lunatic...basically a boy who cried wolf scenario.

This episode shed some light on a very real issue we have in our society. We take the way people look and characterize them as whatever we think those looks mean. The moment where Lupo said he wouldn't call her naive, I knew what time it was lol. Some people get the "naive, soft, helpless" treatment while others, like the guy she tried to pin it on, get characterized as instant criminals. That ending had me hollering though, I did not expect her to grab her pumpum like that lmao

Really nice of the accused to wear the exact same clothes he was wearing during the line up, you know to make it super easy for the victim to be able to recognize him, I bet that if it's really him that attacked her he was wearing those same clothes when he attacked her too, you know, to make doubly sure.

Detectives were investigating the CSI tech's murder and honed in on the fiancee, when they got a call that another Asian woman was assaulted. The girl, Emma Kim, said she was assaulted by a Dominican cab driver. They ID'd the cabbie by his sandals and a Tweety Bird that he had hanging in his cab, but the cabbie denied it. The forensic team, however, found the CSI tech's DNA in the cab, and then Emma - who was well on her way to seducing Lupo (they hook up) - picked him out of a lineup, but only after Lupo held her hand (literally) through the lineup.
The defense attorney raised the issue at the bail hearing and Emma essentially threw Lupo under the bus during the hearing, so the ID was dismissed. Meanwhile, back at Emma's house, Lupo is talking to her about it and stumbles upon a red Victoria's Secret teddy in her closet: the same one detectives learned that the CSI Tech's fiance had bought days before she was murdered, but they didn't know who he bought it for. Lupo quickly learns that Emma did work for the same magazine that the fiance worked for and he confronts the fiance, who confesses that he had hooked up with Emma, who had said she was sick and needed money for her kidney disease (continued)

I'm glad this version of Law & Order is making a comeback in 2022/23, as much as SVU is still good but it wasnt the same without the original cast, same with Criminal Intent. Over the years great actors have played the co-lead roles and supporting roles, but the stories and topics varied which made it interesting. Unlike SVU which it mostly focuses on assault and abuse with social media, for almost every episode now instead of a murder case. Yet, Criminal Intent was good cause in my point of view it was what inspired the creation of Criminal Minds, the psychology and motive. However, the dialogue between the characters was hard to understand. Don't get me wrong SVU and Criminal Intent was good but Law & Order is more original.
I loved the scene where she accused the judge of sleeping with her and the EADA of wanting her too.

I am no detective or any actual education on catching murderers and other people in that line of work. Though the ending...It was PRETTY predictable lol. Nevertheless, I am curious about one thing. When is it safe to have a romantic/intimate relationship with a victim or when is it appropriate to do so? For sure NEVER during the investigation for one of the obvious reasons here in the clips, second it really creates problems in the long run. Kinda like when the lawyer pointed out the handhold and try to use that against them, so it is safe to imagine what other consequences can occur that will affect the investigation. I imagine it is only acceptable AFTER the investigation is complete, though I also imagine it is NEVER ok to be involved with the victim due to just how flat-out serious the line of work is.
Law and Order has lost a step. No detective would be so OPENLY in a relationship with a witness, no matter how fucking seductive she was.

That's because they did several of the same stories that were done in the US version. Just changed it up a bit, to make it plausible for a British audience. I watched a couple of the UK L&O seasons myself. I enjoyed the differences in how the court room scenes were done. And I'll admit, I loved seeing areas of London...

I just saw one of these snippets where Julia Roberts gets off scott free because B. Bratt opted to stay with her all weekend instead of logging drugs into station, which meant they couldn't be used as evidence. Never saw that episode, but in the snippet, noone was unhappy with him either.
In law and order svu, a woman detective slept with a suspect that same as here turns out to be the killer when cragen found out he fired her and Finn is her replacement, I hate how van Buren find out and didn't fired lupo 🫤😑
