I'm the same age as Joe, I was Rochdale number 2 GK at 16 through 18, would play against Joe for the reserves a few times a season. We had the same GK coach growing up as kids. Remember when he got one of his first Shrewsbury starts against Rochdale, he knocked on our changing room to grab me before the game, he had an absolute world class game, they beat us 4-3 and then he signed for city. I got bombed and haven't kicked a ball professionally in 20 years 😂

I remember watching Joe do his warmup at St James, and honestly, never seen anything like it. He was making back to back to back saves and just so quick back to his feet. Unreal keeper

I met Joe Hart on a night out in printworks in 2008. My brother went to City away and I met him at the train station coming home and we went on a night out. I was 16 at the time lol. We seen Micah and Harty outside Opus and we called him over. My bro and harty spent 5 mins talking about the shambles of the match earlier in the day.
I’d say the best goalie I’ve seen at blues in the 30 years of my life. Would of absolutely loved if he signed. Unreal player. Was also replaced with a just as good of a goalkeeper in Fozzie🙌🏻

I remember when Man City had a £105m bid for Kaka rejected. Think it was in 2010. Just as well RM rejected it coz he suffered badly with injuries.
He was at A.C Milan at the time if I remember correctly

the failed Kaka transfer is hardly a big reveal. It was big news at the time. Kaka's agent was his dad I think, and as per usual he demanded City also sign Kaka's brother Digao as part of the deal. City's boss back then was Garry Cook and I remember him getting sour grapes saying Kaka "bottled it" when the transfer collapsed
