I have kia optima 2020 4 cylinder
It is surfing from barastic drawn i checked all the fuse circuits it is oky but still may battery will o of order after 2 days.
I suspect is one of the alternator diode is defective .
The ? Is how to carry diodes test before removing the alternator from position . ?

What if fuse is good. I'm working on my cousin's car , 2019 Kia optima. It can be running and all sudden shut off. Crank it over and barely turns and starts the "click click ", Check voltage and it's low, 8.5volts. I'll jump start it and fires right up, as soon as I disconnect cables it does within 30seconds. I'll charge it longer and turns on again and check voltage without cables and running and it shows 13.5-14.1. It can run for couple minutes and miles find and again randomly shuts off due to low voltage. New battery and new OEM alternator and still doing same thing. No check engine light but with my mac tool scan I can run a diagnostic and only codes that pop up current other then the b1112 ignition low voltage (for the obvious) is b1697-87(air bag I believe) and p1233-00. Any idea?

Could be your engine mount but very hard to guess with little information
Definitely check ur oil
