indeed, the little navmap would be ideal for this type of "sightseeing"!

Just did a flight from Titusville to Tally on FS2020, messed around with ILS function, worked well - but I was guessing what to press. This vid is helpful. Thanks!

Thanks for the comment. One of my favorite things about MSFS is how well it does real time real weather conditions. Enjoy.

Once you get within range of the LOC1 (it will usually switch from GPS to LOC1 on it own) then you can hit approach mode and when you intercept the glideslope (GS) at the correct altitude the aircraft will begin the decent to the runway on the GS.

Success,I just made my first landing on autopilot . I do not use an external flight route planner So it was difficult to see which airport has ils or not. But the VFR map (under the V button on your keyboard) provides all the necessary information when you search for your destination. There you can see whether an airport has ILS or not. Thank you for your help, I will practice this more often so that I never forget it again, without your help I would never have succeeded.

Bummer...they changed that multifunctional screen. Ils is removed as far as i can see,now we only have vloc1 and 2. ILS was so nice. Now i have to learn how vloc1 and 2 works with this new update. Greetings from Holland. 🛩️🧑‍✈️🇳🇱
