You don't get this information in Legacy mode. Then I noticed when you made adjustments You were getting the curved arrow which you get only in Legacy mode. When I use Legacy mode. Great video, thanks, I have a query - the Cessna Citation Longitude features three rotary knobs (rotaries) underneath the central Garmin Touchscreen Controllers (GTCs) which are essential for various flight operations. As of the latest updates, there isn't direct keyboard shortcut functionality specifically for the rotary knobs on the GTCs.

    So basically, setting an altitude number in the autopilot is meaningless - you just have to use the v-speed up or down and then manually tell it to hold at whatever altitude you want to hold at, which pays no attention to the number in the altitude setting.

    • @IFRSKIES
      @IFRSKIES Před měsícem

      This could just be a bug that needs to be fixed. It really should hold the set altitude once it reaches the setting if the autopilot is on. Maybe the V-speed is not shutting off like it should when the altitude is reached.

I have MSFS primarily to fly the classic DC-3 (and DC-6) I don't like the "push button and fly planes" that much and besides that, they don't have have that awesome piston sound - but hey, everyone has their own preference ;) But after a while, especially on the long hauls and be able to do some site seeing, it comes in pretty handy to have the choice to fly the DC-3 using GPS and AP. Although I have played with it for some days now it didn't work out that well for me, but after "studying" your video I'm able to enjoy the scenery a lot more, and do some monster flights without spending hours to write it all down on paper planning a flight (still great fun to fly "old school" though). Really food video. Learned a lot. Nobody except you go through the checklists. I love that because I want to learn. If I want to skip it later so be it. But I know how to do a cold and dark 172. Thanks. Following.

    I think that a missed approach after missed landing path. You can turn that on or off in little navmaps I believe.

      Ketsa, thank you for your comment. I have a better mic now so I'm going to redo a video on this aircraft with hopefully better sound quality.

    I’m having trouble getting it to work as well. I managed to get the heading hold to work last night by fluke but nav mode would not follow my flight plan. I’m using the Xbox version of the game too so I can’t zoom in very close to the instruments, I can hardly see what’s displayed on the Garmin screen so that doesn’t help matters 😂 I’ll try shifting the camera forwards on the closest view and try see what’s going on but yeah it’s very fiddly.

      After much googling and playing around I found the problem was I was selecting nav too far from the line. You need to be right on it to guarantee it will work.

      For the camera you can try to use the camera panel on top, then it should have set camera prefixes, atleast on pc, maybe you can get a good view of the Garmin from there
