I too like Spec-Ops Brand gear, being made with 1000 denier nylon is why they so durable. But Eberlestock packs are what I use.

I have a T.H.E. Pack since before '99, I took it to Egypt for and MFO rotation, and several OEF/OIF rotations as well.
It is still kicking to this day !!!
I use it on smaller adventures, and should do a review on it.
I have added and subtracted several molle pouches over the years, as needed for adventures, used it as an assault pack during deployments, and for hikes and camping trips.
It's a great pack !!!
The new ones are a bit pricey for my tastes, currently...but, will be looking to purchase another in the upcoming future.

I used a Spec Ops recon ruck for years...my only issue with the pack was the way it attached to the ALICE frame...otherwise the build quality was second to none...I used it on several backpacking trips in the canyon lands of Utah and it held up very well....pass through sleeves behind the pockets (as seen on the ALICE) would have been the bomb as well...woods

@@ochocobushcraft1742 ChopRock Canyon outside of Escalante...the Canyon has a great elevated sandy natural platform with an awesome overhang a short distance up the canyon on the left.
Has Plenty of room for several tents and a great spot to do day hikes from...bit of a hike into it from the trailhead and down to the river...but well worth the effort!...woods
