I run on back country roads. Little traffic but higher speeds. I always run with traffic ONLY because I use my ears to listen for cars coming behind. If you know what you are listening for a car slowing down is easy to distinguish. The car notices you and is slowing down. If I don’t hear the slowing down then I look behind to quickly decide if I need to jump off the road lol. Has never happened to me but I’m thinking about it always. So cars that are passing you in the opposite lane don’t always slow down. THOSE are the cars I want to see…… DONT WEAR HEADPHONES WHILE RUNNING WITH CARS!!!…..WEAR BRIGHT COLORS!!! BE SAFE!!!
Run with traffic. At intersections cars turning right will be looking to their left and drive right into your path without seeing you if you are going against traffic
Run safe, run where you can step out of the way if needed, and make sure you can see traffic coming and can be seen by traffic approaching. This means I could be running at any side of the road depending on the situation, but I find myself running against traffic most of the time.
Just found out about your channel via reddit. I am working towards the same goal as you, but i need more time, as i just picked up running (and endurance training as a whole) due to quarantine. Looking forward to seeing your progress and having some kind of orientation. PS: I always try to choose roads where traffic flows towards me. Whenever i go with traffic, i turn my head too much because im scared as hell, especially if the roads busy.
Always run with the traffic... Unless you are going round a bend in the road... You should always be on the outside of the bend (this is only really applicable on two way roads)
Always run against traffic so you can see the car that hits you.
Always against traffic!

Run against the flow of traffic. It's safer and you have good visibility

Thanks for watching and good luck in your training!
Run against traffic.
Maybe the other runners are just yelling because you're super fast and they want you to slow down... Proof you will get sub 3

I agree with you Michael, always run against traffic
