- In this video join me on a wildlife photography adventure as I get away from my usual trails and explore somewhere new. Filmed from a POV perspective, I am equipped with my Sony a7IV camera, along with the versatile 200-600mm G lens and a 1.4x teleconverter. I encounter a beautiful variety of birds. Such as American Redstarts, Black and White Warblers and Tree Swallows! I hope this video inspires everyone to step outside of their comfort zones, explore new places and appreciate nature. So sit back, relax and enjoy the video!

Accurate.
Hi, new subscriber here! This looks like an awesome adventure! I really enjoyed this and your series on the Kingfisher. How are you showing the camera LCD? I thought you were recording it with the GoPro but realized you were doing something else. Keep up the great work
Sony has an app called "Creators' App" it allows you to remote control the camera and I simply screen record that on my phone.
There are other cheap alternatives if your camera doesn't have an app to go along with it, but it can get a little tricky.
Thanks for subscribing, glad you're enjoying the content!
I wanted to allow the GoPro to capture more nature audio. But I didn't realize how much my camera strap would rub up against the GoPros built in mics, so apologizes for the bad audio (most of the video is fine), I attempted to make it barrable.
Regardless, I hope you guys enjoy the video! Now, I gotta go get working on the next one. its going to be a good one!
Nice to see a new upload!
Thank you, I appreciate the support! I have been insanely busy, so I’m relieved I finally got this video finished.
@@CurtisSnapshot That's nice, It's ok if u don't have the time to post too much, just post whenever u can/want to
The background music is too loud and overpowering over nature sounds. Which is usually what you want to hear in these pov videos. Perhaps try lowering the volume.
Thank you for the feedback! I've been making tons of changes to my videos since this one here. Sometimes it's a step back, but in general think I've come pretty far!
Nice video. There are some great Warblers there, love Northern Parula's, but they are notoriously difficult, still haven't got a good shot of one, as they tend to stay fairly high up in the canopy.
Awesome! I haven’t heard of, or seen great warblers.
That makes sense, those Parulas where so difficult to spot, maybe next time! Thanks for watching.
Hi! What is the app that you are using to identify those birds? Does it just always record and then tell you what birds are around you? Fantastic video btw!!!
The app is called “Merlin bird ID”, you can record live audio at anytime and it does a pretty accurate job at identifying what’s around you. Before you know it, you’ll start recognizing more bird calls without it!
Are you always shooting with the 1.4 converter?
I would say I use it 50% of the time. It really depends on the conditions I'm shooting in, as a teleconverter can sometimes greatly degrade image quality.
Have you ever calibrated your lens? I am having sharpness issues. I have the same setup as you. It's probably user error, but I just want to rule out any possible issues with the equipment.
I haven’t calibrated or updated my lens, though I believe it does have the most current version.
As for my a7iv, when I first bought it I had some very small issues with animal eye autofocus. So I updated the camera to the first patch and since have updated to the most recent release. Everything has been working great for me.
