Galveston Sandcastle Competition 2021

The 34th Annual AIA Sandcastle Competition took place on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Many teams competed by constructing impressive sand sculptures in various categories including: Traditional castle, Animal Kingdom, Public Favorite, & Greatest Feat of Structural Ingenuity.

Winner of the Silver Shovel: PGAL - “Hickory Dickory Dock”
Winner of the Bronze Shovel: Kirksey Architecture - “Mortalorian”
Public Favorite: Ziegler Cooper Architects - “Olympic in the Pacific - Lilo and Stitch”
