  • In snooker there are two key shots to get right when clearing the colours. In this coaching video I offer some advice.
    The two key shots are: 'brown to blue' and 'blue to pink'.
    In this video I talk about practicing the key shots and how to go about getting better and more comfortable with these shots.

    Great video. It really helps with you showing exactly where to hit the white ball and how the white ball reacts. Often i here people say "hit it with a trace of side" i never knew how much a trace of side was, now i know :)

    Excellent tutorial once again and if I dare say so, our teacher looks so much more professional in slacks and a clean shirt than he does in blue jeans. The clean room and additional camera angles add to the professionalism, which hopefully bring even more subscribers. Keep up the great work. More on screw back too please.

      Hi there. I have a video on walking into the shot and where to place the feet and how to stand.
      The video is for right handed players, but obviously the same things apply, just do the opposite feet etc.

    Hi I have a question I seem to get shoulder pain when playing snooker I get it in my bridge arm. I always feel comfortable on the shot but the more regular I play the more it hurts

  • @nickmiller3319
    @nickmiller3319 Před 3 lety

    On shots you are going to repeat as a learning exercise (for example the thin brown), do you think it has to be the brown, or would grabbing a bunch of reds and using those to save the walk around the table every time to retrieve the brown work just as well?

    Great video really helping me out
    one question can u plz tell me from where i can get a good cue ?
    i have one cue but i want a cue with good power
    plz help me with this
    Thanks

    • @BartonSnooker
      @BartonSnooker  Před 5 lety

      Hi! There are lots of different cues out there.
      What you will find is that a cue will not give you more cue power. Timing of the shot and having cue power is all about a players technique and not the cue. Cues do play differently and could possibly offer some assistance: but it is 95% the player and 5% the cue.
      Just get hold of a good straight piece of wood, and after that, it all comes down to practice and improving your technique.
