But it cost more because plastic is more expensive than cement
They are trying to save the environment first and foremost. Besides they are using plastic waste that is piling up in the lakes and rivers not to mention the oceans where 100s of thousands of tons of plastic floating around in the sea. Countries by the sea could put it better use as demonstrated.
