Pretty good idea, maybe the zip tie to create slots for each socket, would eat space but solve that rolling problem when missing a socket in between. Thanks for sharing

Good video. I usually pick up those magnetic rails every time they on sale so I have a few laying around. I think I’ll give your idea a try.

I haven't found any socket rail I like. Harbor freight has a osen copy but it bulky
