Legendary English rockers Foghat are back in Wichita, this time playing the city streets in honor of the 52nd year of Riverfest! Active for the better part of the last five decades, it was an honor to finally see the band live!
Fronted by new vocalist and guitarist Scott Holt after the departure of longtime frontman Charlie Huhn, Foghat has remained true to their blues-infused hard rock sound throughout the years and lineup changes. The consistent key element has been revered founding drummer Roger Earl, who has remained behind the kit for the last fifty-six years and is the sole reason the band has withstood the test of time.
Featured is a front-row perspective of their top hit single and arguably best song, Slow Ride! First seen on their 1975 album 'Fool for the City', Slow Ride has been Foghat's highest streaming song and remains the perfect track to close out a concert. Thanks for watching!
