And NOW they‘re goin to a crimescene....
Not really a fire engine it’s the fire equipment truck many distracts have them and makes perfect sense to use for swat since it’s already designed for equipment

It’s not like they don’t want to move it’s that there’s too many people on the road you can clearly see people trying to move over but there’s too many cars

i remember this! i worked right around the corner from this and stopped at the end of the block from where this happened and watched it for a couple hours until they talked the guy out of the house he was hold up in, crazy stuff.

I knew that the units would take the street that leads them to the command post so I run over to the street (which was less than a block away) and caught em again. I was pissed at first but then realized that I can get them again. Thanks!

My uncle was in the lapd swat team his name is swat officer jack Crabtree he became 1985-2013 retired from lapd swat 8 years ago . I do support my uncle in the lapd swat when I was a kid my cousin is a detective lapd task force gang unit as a detective Josh cole he is my cousin too . I'm am good friends with lapd I do support fresno police department too go lapd swat team and lapd and fresno police department too .

They are headsets that are used for communication between each other and on the radios
They are using headphones to communicate with one another but also because they're in a truck, it is easier to hear radio traffic via headphones.
@@90210FireBuff @Medic 2155 okay, but in germany we´re driving firetrucks too (i´m in a voluntary fire department) and we don´t use headphones. We have like loudspeakers on the truck, so everyone can hear it, and we have radio to speak with the dispatch or with other vehicles :D but there i can see there is some difference in the work of a Firefighter in Germany and in the States :D

If you need a swat team with a truck that big, you really have a serious problem and they are comming loud ,fast, and hard.

Because the swat truck used a brand called Pierce, pierce is a fire apparatus meaning they build fire trucks.
Take your time. Riggs and Murtaugh have things under control.
It’s stupid on that drivers part. Why sit in all that traffic when you have open lanes on the other side of the road? It’s better to drive on the opiate side of the road to get through an intersection than to force the cars in front of you into cross traffic that can’t see you behind them.

@@90210FireBuff Interesting to see, over here in the Uk most dive units are just normal box trucks, and bomb squad is handled by the army who also just use normal box trucks and we don't quite have swat as you do over there but we have armed police in SUV's and then If it's a large operation they might drive a van with people in the back.
