The rope and paracord are made up of many small fibers. You never are able to cut all fibers at once. Using a very sharp shears is great. The dog nippers are not as precise as tailor scissors. Besides, you can take the scissors to a knife sharpener and grind a new edge when they get dull. I wouldn't be surprised to see someone come up with paracord specific shears designed for just paracord.

If you spend a little money and buy a trilors shears whaich are very sharp...they do the best. They have small ones. They are very sharp.
What type of thread do you use for the whipping?
