STJ either works out like a crazy person or has that fast metabolism we all want. That's definitely not a 'small' meal for me... Salad, ramen, sushi x2, beef curry and a tiramisu; I'd be full for that entire flight!

You do know that an earthquake in one part doesn’t affect another? Bit like saying a tornado in one part of the U.S. affects all the US.
I don't know why, but when you got to the Sakura Lounge and said "This is the best curry" I suddenly remembered a story about a Japanese airline traveler who bought a club membership or whatever and used it to get free meals for two or three years, that wasn't you, was it?

JAL has a oddly large number of markedly different business class seats. On a recent round trip between the US and Asia connecting through Tokyo, we managed to fly in three different cabins over the four flights (Sky Suite I, Sky Suite III, Shell Flat Neo). Including the A350, there will be seven different styles total!

Great flight. First of all, deep condolences for every tragedy happened in your country. Okay back to topic, great seat to be fair, but the IFE need some upgrade if this aircraft remains stay in this airline for long periods, since 767 for passenger going rare this day.
Japan really hasn't had an easy start of 2024, with both massive earthquake and soon after, the incident at Haneda airport where a coast guard plane and JAL plane collided (miraculously no one died on the JAL plane!)
Thinking of the people of Japan, and I'm hoping the rest of 2024 will be better for everyone around the world

The last time I went to Japan, it was a very long trip. My back was sore for a very long time. I have a bad back and I'm much older now so that means my back has gotten worse. But those seats look a lot better than what they used to be. We got lucky on the flight back to the states. The plane was half empty so we got to lay across a few seats. But I still remember that flight over.

You are right about those seats being a little narrow when fully flat. It's nice to be able to stretch your legs, but sleeping can still be tough.

while landing and take off some computer onboard is shutdown for safe energy so u can't access some function on screen
We flew into Narita on JAL at the end of Dec and had the same problem with the flight map. What I ended up doing was holding on the screen at the spot I wanted to click with my finger and pressing the select button on the remote in the arm rest. Not sure what it's like normally but it was totally broken on our seats too and that was a newer plane.

You normally provide price info with your video but not in this one. How much was the flight? The food looked amazing both in lounge and on the plane.
JAL business for Asian routes isn't bad but its long haul business 2-2-2 Sky Suite is one step down from American Airlines 1-2-1. I do have a few question though. Are Sakura and First class lounge the only lounges in Haneda and Narita airports? I had access to multiple lounges in Changi Singapore mainly British Air,Marhaba,Qantas Singapore and the most opulent lounge is the Qatar Airlines. Next time I want to see if Emirates will let me in. What is the difference between the Sakura and First class lounge? I was a little disappointed with the Sakura lounge as I was expecting real lounge seats where I can at least lay down to rest in my long 9-hour layover in Japan but the closes I found was 4 message chairs. 😐.

Looks like the touch panel cords were shifted left based on where you pressed and where the cursor showed leading to Japanese selection rather than English and subsequent issues

I like you, just not always a fan of the mode of travel. l like the boats, the Japanese ferry system. Planes and trains just dont appeal. If you pick destinations like the pre-industrial village, i'm a real sucker for that :) annnnnd, your food aesthetic is just the best

the inflight entertainment systems touchscreen is trash as I was one in a united flight in economy and the middle screen had touchscreen issues
Constructive criticism. Could be much tighter editing with 10 minutes shorter run time which would encourage less fast-forwarding ! PS, I'm convinced you have worms with the amount of food you put away !
