27:00 There was this secret restaurant in South Korea 🇰🇷 that loosely translated into being a restaurant for chefs. It was only open between 11pm-3am and their menu....the menu was unique. It was a checklist that gave the customer almost complete control of what goes on their plate. They start with asking how hungry you are (basically asking how big you want your plate) and then they'd give the customers the checklist which gave them complete control over what goes on their plate and how its prepared based on the ingredients they had on hand.
It was amazing. And i understood why its for chefs/cooks and not general public... the menu was almost too difficult for me to use and the only reason I was allowed was because of the reservation by my cousin who is a chef in korea.

OMG this totally reminds me of when I went to Germany a few years back. The outdoor market was amazing there too. But out of everything I noticed food over there is so much better, especially 'junk food' because they limit the types of preservatives they can use. Orange fanta over there taste like ACTUAL orange in the best way. Also Coca cola is less sweet but it doesn't detract from the flavor at all in my opinion. Favorite foods of that trip: Donar Kabobs and Snitzel. As far as sights "Rothenberg' was a nice quaint town that looked like something out of hunchback of Notre Dame lol

If you worked for a Scottish chef then you would be aware that 'Scotch Eggs' are not Scottish. They hail south of the border in England. Earliest mentions to this dish come from 'Fortnum & Masons' department store in London 1738. Made as a portable snack for stage coach passengers. 'Scotch' is to mince meat and form around an egg, or to 'Scorch' meaning to cook over an open fire in hot oil. Nothing to do with Scotland whatsoever. Rather like the haggis which has been eaten all across Europe and Asia for ages. Romans had a penchant for stuffing not just stomachs, but udders and wombs.

Man, watching this makes me miss Edinburgh so much. I went there 5 years ago while studying for a trip with the school, we had to vote to go to Manchester, Dublin, London or Edinburgh, and luckily for me, Ediinburgh won, I have wanted to go to Scotland for years and years. I love the culture, accent, people and basically everything about it, so when it won, I was more happy than I ever have been. And going there was a joy, when we landed I had the absolute biggest smile on my face, and the trip did not let me down, the food was amazing, the people were so nice. And watching this just makes the memory flow back.
I will without a doubt make a trip again there, even if I have to go by myself. Of all the countries and cities I've been to, Scotland, Edinburgh is definitely my favourite place. I want to try so many other things, food, drinks, see locations I didnt have the time for and the landscape. I just simply love Scotland for everything it is, and my favourite thing I tried was definitely haggis. Without a doubt haggis is a must try dish, don't be afraid of it, haggis is one of the best things I have ever tried and I will eat it as the first thing when I travel to Scotland again.

My wife and I are going to Scotland next fall, and I wanted to know exactly how did you get through customs with all that scotch!?!? From my understanding (which isn't a whole lot) it's completely forbidden to fly with alcohol. What are the laws on bringing it back into the U.S. from Scotland? We're going to tour the Lagavulin distillery, and I want to bring home some goodies! How much can you bring back? What size bottles are allowed and so forth? Looks like you guys had a blast! Cheers!
