I would of kept charlie as the captain. Banks definitely is an alternative captain, but another one I think deserved it would of been fulton. Ik he's an enforcer, but he's a good teammate and always stands up for his friends. That's a true leader imo
The main purpose of a captain is not necessarily the skill, but mainly the idea of them being a leader or someone who is a good team speaker to get the team pumped up.
If you look at NHL teams Jamie Benn and Landeskog the captains of the stars and the avalanche aren’t necessarily the people who score goals like Mackinnon or Robertson, but they are strong individuals mentally who help add a intimidation factor to the team which in that case I would bring up Joe Thornton.
Now that I think about it though, I think your point is valid as there are different qualities that captains have and banks would fit more in that area of being a captain because of how skilled they are as a player.
Refs: not a single penalty called against the varsity, despite lots of cross-checking, slashing, tripping, hooking, diving, etc. Also refs: calls a penalty on the ducks for hooking, even though it was clearly a dive. I know it's a movie, but it's just something that's bugged me for years. Also, the too many men penalty wouldn't have been called unless the extra player touched the puck before the line change was complete. As it was a stop in play due to a penalty being called, Kenny Wu wouldn't have been penalized for it.

@@stevensaidsomething I'm not so sure about that...this movie is from the mid-90s so I'm not sure if the checking rules had changed in any real meaningful way or not. If they hadn't then yeah, 2 mins easy call. But there's just as much a chance that it was a legal hit back then. Of course, it's also a movie so suspension of disbelief and all.
52K VIEWS?! WOW
66K and a half
the real travesty is that Banks would have been the captain, Charlie and probably Germaine would have been assistant captains.

@@treybradshaw1624 Banks, Conway, and Reed are all captain material. Conway has it being the longest tenured of the three, I guess.

I love these movies 😭😭
That's the longest ten seconds ever. Course, you'd be surprised what could happen in the last ten seconds of a hockey game.
I want to be a kid again.
I wonder why they didn’t. Nobody “owns” a horn so they could’ve used the horn but probably not the song
Ducks ought to use "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top for their goal song.
Charlie didn't have a breakaway because a varsity player was in front of him. If he was on a breakaway, there'd be nobody blocking him.
My favourite characters The ducks it's the best.
D 3. THAT'S GREAT 👍🏻👍🏻
KEEP GOING ON ❤.
LOVE YA
ORION: Hey, Charlie!
We’re really backed to a corner here.

Why was goldberg playing meaningful minutes?!?!
They were killing a 5-on-3 and coach trusted him to help kill the penalty.
This is the one ducks movie I don’t remember at all
Good morning gran love you too LA academy dragon
