  • Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez denied corruption allegations against his wife but said he will consider resigning after the launch Wednesday of a judicial investigation into accusations that she used her position to influence business deals. Sánchez said in a letter posted on his X account that while the allegations against his wife are false, he is canceling his public agenda until Monday when he will announce whether he will continue or step down. @@isagive Exactly. And it's going into the European justice. Some of his ministers are involved but unfortunately it's very difficult for the Spanish justice to do anything about them since they have parliamentary protection (they could eventually be trialed, but only by the highest rank court, which makes everything way more difficult to process). However, his wife doesn't have that protection, since she's not a PM, so now that she's being required by the Spanish justice things may go south very quickly for them.

The way they’ve been going after this man and his family for years is just horrendous, and all because we finally have someone implementing policies for the benefit of average people instead of big money interests… I wouldn’t blame him if he were to quit, but I really hope he doesn’t.

Stop lying, PSOE-bot. Sánchez himself and his ministers have been accusing oppositors of this very thing for months, even at the Spanish Parliament. He's reaping what he sewed.

Investing 45 BILLION into Morocco by 2050 is in the interests of the average Spanish people? Instead of investing them into poorer regions of Spain?
Legalising 500,000 illegal Immigrants, may I add when there’s a work shortage for Spanish people themselves, is a policy that benefits the average spanish people?
Furthermore, what policies to benefit the average Spanish people has he implemented? Because unemployment isn’t going down. It’s a lie. People are leaving the country, engineers, doctors and many more, because of the horrible taxes that keep going up.
And this “man” is the same guy who claims he’s being harassed after calling every single party that isn’t with him “far right” and “fascists”. Funnily enough, all of the right is “far right” but if you call the left “far left” you’re a fascist.

It's refreshing to see, but those who throw mud at him wouldn't step down, as seen enough times. We had something similar in our country and in the next government five ministers were ousted for corruption and some others managed to cover their tracks. Good luck Spain !

And there is more info about HIS brother coming out! But evrn with all this, he is going to survive politically. He is capable of everything to keep holding power. He is about to sell 9/10 of our country to the other 1/10.

Ayuso's boyfriend, father and brother do not matter because they are men and that is very frowned upon in Spain (I am a woman). Ana Botella (Aznar's vase wife according to some) doesn't matter either because she also got into politics. But the PSOE attacked Feijoo's partner two days ago (a female from what I understand, by the way) blaming her for dealings with Sargadelos (and in the process tarnishing the name of a Galicia brand company). And I don't want to forget the wives of Abascal and Robatto (senator), who were attacked online although they have no involvement in politics. Well, all of this is COMPLETELY TRUE and can be easily verified by searching for news about it, but even so, Twitter (x) found it reason enough to suspend my account. I don't know what would happen to me if I were to say that "Clean Hands" (complainant association) must not be as far-right as Sanchez says if it was an accusation against Bárcenas (PP) and the Royal House (Urdangarín and Cristina)... That's how things are. in the Spain of 2024 and that's how I told you!

Plus, now the PSOE is arguing that investigating politicians' family members is a shame, but only NOW. And what I really think is that this is the most shameless statement I've heard, since a) it only applies for him, according to his party, and thoroughly defended by left extremists regarding their own political parties, but denied to other parties, and b) and most important, we all know that the money politicians steal and their crookedness is handled through their familiy members. These people should be investigated as well.
