I wasn’t expecting to be an anime girl on the internet, made me genuinely laugh lol.
The chibi model to me is super funny to watch, cause you either look confused or super happy. That one might be my favorite

I did not expect to hear that Austin bit the cord to fairy lights and jumped on your face! My cats peed in the clean laundry (Baby, the needy one) and knocked several cups and stole our water by drinking from the cups (Chewie, the less needy, more quiet, and older one)

For Japanese if your schedule allows I'd highly recommend taking a semester at a community college. I did so last fall before traveling through Japan for 3 weeks in March-April this year and even a single semester plus the small amount I've absorbed through osmosis over the years were very helpful for being able to communicate basic things about like food, checking into your hotel, etc. In my experience both this year and last year when I went for a week if you've got a little broken Japanese often they've got a little broken English and you can usually meet in the middle somewhere. If all else fails google translate will save the day, I had to use that for more advanced communication.

Oh super awesome!! I'll definitely have to keep that in mind since self-studying Japanese is really hard from when I've tried. Being in California I'm sure I can find a community college with Japanese fairly easily since German isn't as common out here for me to continue with that learning path. Thank you so much for the advice!! 💛

@@SkylarSpeaking I took mine in CA so I can definitely say there are plenty of options around. One word of caution, don't do what I did and neglect learning katakana other than for tests/quizzes. I learned my hiragana and the limited kanji well and mostly neglected katakana, in reality being able to read katakana would be the most useful in my opinion. It's EVERYWHERE in Japan, signs, menus, food packages, etc.
