Thanks for watching!
Wow, you pronounce them so well! Do you actually speak German?
It's actually her native language.
@@eckligt You are actually wrong, her native language is "SchwyzerdĂŒtsch", that something completely different.
@@wernerruf7761 yeah, it's a set of German dialects with an army
Thanks I am really looking for someone to confirm the right pronunciation
She speaks Swiss German! So ig it's correct
@@miilee6080 oh i see
Thank you so much. This is so imortant.
Why does Bach look like Alfred Einstein in the last painting.

Du hast Dich verÀndert, Sumina Studer.
...so I need to follow up with a couple questions: 1: What's going on with the name which comes after the "Mendelssohn" part of Felix Mendelssohn's name? 2: How do I get my wife to stop laughing at me whenever I pronounce J.S. Bach's name correctly?
Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy is commonly known as and referred to as Felix Mendelssohn in the English speaking world, but he actually signed with both of his last times. Ever since his baptism, his full official name was Jakob Ludwig Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, and it stayed like that for all his life.
Bartholdy is derived from the Germanic given name Barthold, which can be a version of both Berthold and BartholomÀus.
The last guy be like: đ

When Schuhmann is a queen, then Ludwig van beethoven would be a total king.
â€
Mendelssohn BERTHOLDT??what in the name of attack on titan crossover is this-
where is max bruch
"Somebody with a little less drama surrounding him" doesnt really fit a guy of whose 20 children ten died before the age of three
Damn you are pretty good at pronouncing these names, do you know how to speak German?
I just realized how somehow the âRâ sounded a bit French rather than English or DutchâŠ
đ€Ș
Not bad, except Mendelssohn was not German, but a Jew.
đđđ Xoxoxoxoxo
You look beautiful itâs like you took a thing from every race, interesting
Lol never heard that one before. Thanks! :)
Her music is overrated.
Mendelssohn is not a German, but a Jew. And Clara is an irrelevant composer, you probably mention her because she is a woman. Her works are ridiculous compared to Robert's, she does not deserve attention as a composer. There are many incomparably better composers than Clara, and even than Robert, whom you did not mention, for example, Richard Wagner, Georg Friedrich Handel, Christoph Willibald Gluck, etc.
Oh I almost forgot Richard Strauss
He was right : stupidity is real....
On is a nationality and the other is a religion, ethnicity so yes Mendelssohn was a Jew but he als was a German.
The rest of you comment is easy. People have different taste and she is a Fan of Schumann.
You don't have to be so hateful. 1. it's her video (you can make your own) 2. it's part 1, so noone is missing here, they are probably in the next part/s 3. there is difference between nationality and religion
Call Beethoven a dude..... lol
