Love ya Bro! Sorry I slept in, could have made a cameo on the channel lol. Whatever you do, It'll be the greatest cause that's what you do. Keep chugging along bro! You got this!
Thanks man, I know you would have been there, no question
17:00 Having a friend that has your back and a trailer is a double win! 🤙
for sure! He's alright in my book
It's was his Trailer.... Cody is just half good at best lol.
@@joshcaddis8348 that was Cody's trailer
Ahhh dude! I drove my swapped samurai for like 100kms in fifth, completely unbeknownst that my rear seal had blown, dumped all my tranny fluid out. Stalled, clutch in, gear "out" but stuck in 5th. At the first red light I found. Only way home was to drop 'er in 4lo and scream/limp out of the intersection to let it cool off and top up. Up the mountain home for a third re/re 😰. Happens to the best of us! Stoked you're able to find some peace and reckoning amongst the battle
Yeah man, having a bad attitude won't fix anything
Great video as always hate the trans gave out...
Thank you
One thing about Hondas are the interchangeability of the drivetrains and components
it's crazy what all can swap out
Great video 👍
Thank you sir
Everytime you say waste oil 🛢 lol. All I hear is wastol like when you first made it. Wuv you Mr. Babb
You handled a down transmission really well. I would have a couple of minutes of bleeping if my transmission went out. Looking forward to the next video.
All that wouldn't fix anything though 😂
I have 99 white with spoiler and I just bought my 5th red crv automatic
Do u have the exact measurements to install the spoiler screw holes
That waste heater is absolutely amazing
It's pretty awesome.
Glad to see ya got it sorted quickly. Brake and trans issues are my least favorite to deal with. Glad I scored a rare 5-speed manual crv without the antilock. Deleting the abs in my old GSR was a pita, but I also nerded out and tucked it clean af. How well is your ebrake workin on the prelude calipers?
Ebrake is mediocre at best. My green CRV is 5 speed non abs
@@hondaresource Good to know, doin the same swap. If i figure it out I'll shot ya a solution. Think I'm going to mount them right-way-round and grid off the extra cable bracket part, and clearance the rear arms. Did the upside down bleeder on an old car with a brake swap and hated messin with it.
Where can I get the tent and I’m sorry for what happened 😭
It's a rough country tent. The CRV will be back soon
Hi, so this CRV 3 differential, after testing, is it better?
I haven't driven with it yet. Working out some suspension stuff
@@hondaresource looking forward to your feedback, good gearbox assembly! full of strength from France!
I have a Honda Crv 2001, I've replaced the radiator and AC switches, the fan switch, the engine coolant censor, the and the engine temperature censor, plus the thermostat.
No light are on,
The radiator coolant temperature, is around 151 degrees.
But the temperature gauge reads it's running hot, all the way to the white line just blew the red, then my fans kick on and the gauge shows it goes down.
It's not overheating, but I'm concerned this is a problem.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
so on a scanner its showing 151?
@@hondaresource These are the codes it showed, P0118 and P01298.
That's why I replaced everything I did.
No check engine light now,
So this 151 could give it a faulty gauge reading?
Check to make sure the top rad hose gets hot, or its your thermostat. You can be getting cool water at the rad and none in the engine if the thermostat never opens. I've seen a few crv's die that way. I would also do a coolant flush, and go ahead and do timing belt, tensioner and water pump if you havent in 80k.
@@timberg7377 P0118 is confirming your engine IS overheating. You likey have a blockage in the coolant system (of which the thermostat can be one), or a bad water pump. Where are you getting the 151 number?
@@nobodynoone2500 no, I'm not getting the 151
I was thinking a bad water pump, I have a new radiator in it.
