Building a Realistic Old Barn using ScaleModelScenery Kit Part 2

- Over the last few weeks I have spent all my time making the Old Barn by ScaleModelScenery. I used the base kit to crate an old run down abandoned barn diorama. This is my first attempt for many years and I was happy with the results, soem of the skills still exist (others have definitely gone lol). I used MDF, foam, plaster, PVA, wire and other scenic materials to create the diorama. I am fairly pleased with the results so far even considering the now shaky hands and failing eyesight......

Hi Tony. What an outcome - well done!
Wow Paul, above and beyond and thank you. I really enjoyed making this diorama learnt a lot and remember a lot from years gone by.
nice work thanks lee
Hey Lee, thank you always appreciate you popping for a look at what I am up to.
It turned out great! I got you subbed so I can see more of your work. Happy Modeling ~ Cory
Hey Cory, thank you. This was my first attempt since returning to the hobby and I rather enjoyed re-learning what I already knew plus learning new stuff. Unfortunately the layout is to small to hold much scenery so it my come down to dioramas which will be fun also. Best wishes Tony
Hey, that looks great, thanks for the video! I'd love it if you could explain more details: How do you construct, how do you paint, etc.
Hey @mythal0620, thank you. I do often think I should record the process but I just keep forgetting to turn the camera on. I only have a phone which should be fine but setting it up and then remembering to turn it on...... I will try though to document my next project. What this space.
Super-realistic scene.Great photography too! Thanks a lot forswearing.
Hey @michaelricks1618, thank you just seen your next comment also and have to say this did make me laugh.
Really fine job Tony! Love the interior detail. Overall, a very realistic scene.

Hey RGJTrains, appreciate that. It was a really good enjoyable experience seeing what I could still do bearing in mind the failing body lol.
amazing eye for detail tony stunning build.
Hey @eastcoastuk9705, thank you. I just kept looking around me when out on walks and noted what is out there. Then I tried to add it in to the diorama.
Cracking job Tony
Hey Clive, thank you. It was an interesting exercise and I thoroughly enjoyed modelling the barn diorama.
Nice work Tony. That really is top modelling.
Hey @LetsGo_41, thank you. It was a real test to see if any of my old skills still existed not having done anything like this for a very, very long time. Even with shaky hands and failing eyesight I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised with the result and very happy.
Great work there Tony👍
Hey @mickedgeleyparkstation5391, thank you. It was a very enjoyable exercise seeing what I could still do (or not in some cases). I am sure there will be more now.
Top work bud, really good👍🏻
Hey Ben, thank you. Been a while and I was worried the old skills may of dwindled. Happy with the result even if my old eyes cannot fully appreciate that now.
Fantastic work Tony.
Hey Gerry, thank you was an interesting exercise seeing what I can still do after all this time.
Hi. Just subscribed to your channel. Looks like you have some great videos.
Hey @les-halestation, welcome and thank you. Things progress slowly.
beautiful work Tony!
Hey @mysticrailroad, it is a start. I hope I can keep it up as the layout develops. It's all about hitting the happy medium creating something that I am happy with but does not do my head in.
Wow that's superb Tony! Well done mate. Regards. Mark.
Hey Mark, thank you really enjoyed making this getting back into modelling.
Wow Tony, that's fantastic modelling 😍 such a level of detail 😇 you should be very proud of the result 👏 👏👏👏 Very best wishes from the Emerald Isle ☘️
Hey @Wickford_N_Gauge, thank you for the wonderful comment. I must admit that I was very pleasantly surprised that I could still model to some degree even with shaky hands and failing eyesight.
What happened to part 2?
Hey @alanrobertson7217, a very good question and I had to take a look. Turns out that I never finished editing it so ended up incorporating it into 3 without realising. I might have to change the part number lol.
Sorry!I didn't spot that my spellchecker corrupted the last two words in my comment below. They should of course read - Thanks a lot for sharing - Not thanks a lot forswearing!
Hey @michaelricks1618, thank you again. When I read the first comment I did chuckle to myself. Thank you also for the comment glad you liked the images and the modelling.
