      Add solar to the top to auto-power the fan and an adjustable timer for the mist sprits and you have yourself a great hot day patio umbrella. Though, now it's probably going to be a 500 dollar umbrella.

    James, you're just too kind. For this price, I think it's a dud. The fan only works for still wind conditions and the mister doesn't seem to mist, it rains. I think the bottle hanging at the bottom would be too heavy for me after awhile, too.

    Seems to me like as a proper UV/sun-blocking umbrella it's well made... but the fan and mist features need a little more fleshing out. Nice to see the batteries last a ridiculously long time instead, though. Guarantees at least a full day of use. This certainly seems to also not be a good product for humid areas, although the fan might be kind of alright. I think some of these products just need a few tweaks, like a bigger and stronger fan motor and then bam it's good to go.

  • @Gkitchens1
    @Gkitchens1 Před měsícem +8

    The point of the fan is a light freeze to cool the mist, so if there’s a breeze outside you won’t feel the fan On.
    And it sprays the top of the umbrella and soaks the mesh so the fan is blowing cool air. I think a better understanding of the intended use would have helped you lol, but if there’s average person doesn’t know then that’s the company’s fault lol.

It's the only place you would have access to free water, would probably be out in the sun long enough to warrant using it, and have enough places to rest or prop the umbrella down so your arms don't get tired. At around $50, it's not outrageously expensive for an umbrella. It's a bit expensive but not so much that it's complete nonsense to get this over a regular umbrella. Especially since the umbrella itself seems pretty well-made.

    Well, I’m guessing that this umbrella will definitely protect you from UVA and UVB exposure! While $65 is pretty pricey, as a broad spectrum sun protection umbrella might balance part of that out. Maybe if the fan blades were a bit more substantial, it would work better.

    Selling an umbrella that only rains under the umbrella is diabolical

    Life hack. Put some nice water with ice and put it in the refrigerator overnight. Pour it in the bottle is going to be nice and cold under in the umbrella ☔ great review

    Way too expensive for what you get! Based on similar sun-blocking umbrellas already available in most of Asia but the fan/water feature are a neat addition. Also, doesn't look like it could fit in checked luggage. Being nit picky, but for that price point, I would expect a lot more. As always, thanks for your great review!

    If I were you, I would review astro turf for the back yard. Hopefully the views would pay for the lawn and then it would keep the dust down and make doggo happy.

    Best to use recharable batteries if you use it every day
