And while they're vets, famous as hell and certainly no strangers to anyone who knows rock music,, I've always felt they haven't quite gotten the credit they deserve. 311 is truly one talented band.

That cymbal grab at the end was tight. Your playing is always so exciting and fun and makes me smile every single time you release a new video. This song reminds me of a lot, but especially now I think of sitting at a bar waiting for an open mic to start as this drunk guy next to me goes on and on and on and on about every tiny little thing he loves about the band, The Offspring. Seeing that amount of love for a band was somehow more endearing than annoying. Anyway, thanks for always producing such great, quality drum vids.

@@samh4904 Its sort of like an undigestable amount of nostalgia and regret that like even from the Offsprings point of view like you end up making it big and good stuff happens to you but you look back at all the people you grew up with and see the chaos and devastation and its just like how did i not see it than and man i wish i couldve helped or done more or something. makes me wanna tear up but thats what i love about music it shows i still have a heart.

Something I really love about your videos more than most other channels is that you have ALWAYS stayed true to yourself. Stayed true to your style and you can genuinely tell that you love the songs you’re playing. I do the exact same thing in my covers and I don’t know if you remember this, but I met you at last years NAMM show and I will never forget the advice you told me in regard to what I should do as a small channel moving forward. You said, “I just posted my 700th plus video recently and it’s been a long journey. Don’t get discouraged and your time will come.” I gave you my business card and you gave me a high five and that statement stuck with me even until today to where my channel is finally growing. THANK YOU for inspiring me and the rest of the drum community and your authenticity and kindness is what really sets you apart🥁

As a teen of the ‘90’s, well 20 in 1998 when this song came out, it doesn’t get much better then this. Great pick and great drumming. Keep songs like these coming.

I tried to copy your playing, but I had to stop when my wife threw my drums outside. Well, it wasn't a drum set exactly, it was just her pots & pans and some metal lids, but she said I'm not any good and that 3am is not an acceptable time to practice. Any ideas?
