I was there. An amazing atmosphere. I don’t like our basketball arena but it can get loud if enough fans come out and support. This was a monumental upset of epic proportions. I had this sense when the game tipped we would win and oddly enough we did. I’m usually wrong but I wasn’t that day!

seeing this just now, in 2017..........Matt Sylvester's father Mike, while @ UD was instrumental in almost knocking off UCLA's Bill Walton team in the West Regional Semifinals (March 1974).....he was a one man wrecking crew that night, 36 pts, 13 rebounds..........@ 6- 5", taking on the likes of Bill Walton, Marques Johnson, David Meyers and Keith Wilkes, who all went NBA.........the Flyers lost in OT, but they had them on the ropes thru regulation play
