- Me playing for a student an excerpt from the superpopular minimal music piano-composition "Fly", from Ludovico Einaudi, from the movie Untouchable.
I play it a little slower, more 'romantic' perhaps, than is usually played.

I play it way more slow and "soft" and egale in dynamics than (perhaps almost) everybody, but somehow I like it more this way, and it's more fitting with my modest Pleyel piano, so for me this feels natural (for whatever that's worth :)
I was just scrolling through your channel, really loads of wonderful masterpieces, and so difficult ones, wow!! You really are able to play the big, challenging masterpieces. Just listened, for example, to your opus 48 no 1, and I really appreciate your conscience choices in tempo and timing and albeit your ability to play this very difficult Nocturne so smooth, and especially: in such a continuous strict and even tempo. Very well done. When I studied that piece, long ago, I never managed to cope with especially that aspect of the piece, and I mean than most of all in the D.M.-part, of course.
Very interesting technology / visuals also, never seen that before. Compared to that, my videos are just a very modest, home made (but sometimes also creative) "where & and in what angle (& with what kind of embellishments) to place the iPad this time"-kind of one :)
So I am mostly, but not all of the time, aware of where to put my IPad for a nice (and for that specific piece matching) point of view + some plain parafernalia (although here with this excerpt of this Einaudi piece, by the way, I was not that much 🫣, except for the kinetic sculpture which I placed there because of the repetitional character of the piece). But overal this one was a very spontaneous & simple recording, at night, late in the evening, for a student. Also because it was just an excerpt.

The kinetic sculpture I mentioned was in the Mompou piece, some videos earlier, I now see ! 😅
Well, in any way, given the movement of that sculpture, it could have easily also be placed on the piano while playing piece :)
Who knows in another Einaudi piece...?
