Don't worry, your club's got more than their share of young talent that's just about ready for the show (I've seen what you guys have in your system and it's S-C-A-R-Y from top to bottom, lol). Front office just needs to stop being cheap and start holding on to most of 'em for real, the ones considered the absolute cream of that bumper crop at the very least. And I've yet to see another team scout the often-overlooked Mexican demographic on the international FA front as adeptly as the Padres have done of late, either. Lifelong Dodger fan here, btw!

They have had some big help from their prospects to get through the injuries of their stars and until the 7-game skid (which they snapped convincingly today, again with help from Alvarez' big bat), they maintained a record that kept them at or near the top of the AL. It's a good time to be a Stros fan. But to the original commenter's point, this is pretty unreal too. Some clutch bats for rookies, that's for sure.

Alvarez is...I can’t think of a non-over-used-superlative...to describe his start to his career. The thing that concerns me most is our bullpen. Will Harris has GOT to go!! He’s unreliable. And stop bringing up Guduan as well. We need to get a good starter or a top-flight set up or closer in Free Agency.

As a die hard who was at half of the games this week, this has been one of the most exciting weeks I have ever had, and that third walk off had me in tears, I’m not scared to say it... I love this so much. We bleed blue baby! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💙💙💙⚾️

And there's STILL more coming down the pipe as this season rolls along! Orel wasn't lying either, Dodgers right now do have enough talent to fill two big-league ballclubs. I've been a lifelong Dodger fan all the way back to the Brooklyn (Gilliam Reece Snider) Dodgers, w/o disrespect to anyone I gotta say; Your Weakest Position is Catcher (everyone agrees), which makes it Very hard to understand Why you sent Will Smith back to Triple AAA, twice now, despite him having stronger Stats both Offensively & Defensively, and he hasn't even had enough time to break-in. I believe Smith could make the very extra bit you need to go all the way this year, so PLEASE reconsider

With these umpires calling strikes out of the zone and tossing RedTurn2 for no reason while he's in the dugout, there is no telling what they would have done to hand a game to the Rockies. At least he did say in his post game comments that he wanted to win the game for Buehler, they all did. He was outstanding striking out 16 over 9 innings. *Cheers*

I think we were all hoping for Beaty (who led off that inning) to repeat the magic, but when that didn't work out, we all went, "ah well, can't have everything." But then when they IBB'd Russell to face Will Smith, we just KNEW what was going to happen. So magical.

Yup, the only reason why the Dodgers were okay parting with Alvarez in that Josh Fields deal was because they already had Bellinger on his way up. On top of that, Alvarez was still a "baby" when he got dealt (lol) so he was more a product of your team's farm system than he was the Dodgers'. Take good care of him, will ya? And yeah, this year's Dodger club is somethin' else! 2017 team was pretty damn stacked, but they lacked that attention to detail that this year's team has thoroughly gotten on top of. Besides, your Astros got more than enough to worry about on your end with the UBER-loaded Yankees and the upstart Twins (MY favorite AL team, btw). Best of luck!
