How to install A2 Airlift Bumper to your HMMWV

My take on how to install a A2 bumper for your HMMWV right in your garage.
edits: The the rear bolts for the side brackets will also need to be longer ones.

If you need the full bumper kit let me know. I have full kits down the nuts and bolts needed.
Here is a list of some of the parts you'll need if you don't want a kit:
(1) www.ebay.com/itm/202125829040...
(2) you'll need 16 1/2 -13X 3 1/2 bolts (the shorter ones)
(3) you'll need 10 1/2-13X 4 1/2 bolts (the longer ones, 4 per brackets against the frame and one for each of the longer arms mounting to the frame)
(4) you'll need 26 1/2 lock washers
(5) you'll need 52 1/2 washers.

If you pick up the hardware at fastenal it should run you around $84 before taxes.

Just put the bumper on the back of the Battlewagon. Easiest upgrade I've done so far. A bit time consuming, but nothing about this was difficult. Great directions helped. :)

brian reams no, I think you can still keep it. I’ve never done it but I’ve seen it with the A2
