A great occasion, both teams gave it their all, they turned the wick up in the 2nd half. The levels of fitness required will be telling in the play-offs. I cheered for the Albion..
As a neutral I want Ipswich to just miss out on promotion, They're the most entertaining team in any division and I'd hate to see the entertainment ruined by var and the no contact at all premiership approach. The football league should breakaway from the premiership. Let 'em have it, it's going down the pan anyway.
as much as i agree i'd very much like the parachute payments so we can invest an actual decent amount of money into players to keep up the entertaining football! even if we went up and straight back down it'd allow us to bring in the quality of player to be sustainable in the prem, although yes VARball is shocking
@@PerMarePerTerram777you are clearly a football genius in predicting that the promoted team from League 1 might run out of luck against the related premier league teams at some point. Anyway don’t write them off quite yet.
I was at the game, what this doesn't show is the very poor official in the first half, WBA got away with murder in the first half, and the ref was marginally better in the second. The ref had no control over the game in the first half, and when that happens, bad things happen, The players are affected, the crowd is affected and the linesman is affected. WBA were wasting time all the time, I don't go to football to watch the goalie hold the ball for 3 mins EVERY time he gets the ball, EVERY time the ball went out, WBA were cleaning and shining the ball for 3 mins and then they would throw the ball to another player so HE could shine the ball and that the throw ,and the ref did nothing about it, he did book one player on about 42mins for time wasting but WBA just kept on doing it. The first half was slow and Pedestrian and Ipswich could not get any rhythm which added to the frustration of the game. Ref , you need to Ref the game , there is NO VAR here , and you rely on it so much when you are at a real game you become even more useless than you are in the Prem !!!
Agreed poor officiating obviously being all prem officials not used to making decisions without VAR. West Brom started waisting time the minute they scored. But can’t blame them for everything the first goal was some poor defending and Chappers missed an easy chance 🤦🏻♂️
@@professionaldabber3502 yes, we always start slowly but finish strong. Most teams exhaust themselves first half with the high press to stop us playing from the back but they can't keep it up for the whole game which is what happened on sat. The two goals we gave away were bad mistakes. Second half we were all over you boys.
@@professionaldabber3502 you time wasted extremely well in the first 35 minutes too. One of your players had the ball for 20 seconds when taking a throw in, "cleaning" the ball with his shirt, the ref spoke to your captain to tell him to stop it then booked him later when he did it again. Your keeper wasted time too.
I thought the baggies played really well considering we lost two key players to injury were unlucky not to have won the game anyway onto the next game COYB boing boing would have taken a draw at the start of the game
Thought you played well too tbf. Seemed very well set up until things went a bit mad in stoppage time. Certainly wouldn’t want you over two legs in the play offs if that’s where we end up. Good away support as well. A lot of give and take between the fans but all seemed good natured
Thought you were a very good side. Town were certainly much better than the schooling we got in the away game. Hope the lad that was stretchered off isn’t badly injured. ☹️

It's not salty, WBA played really well. It's worrying from our perspective because of the near-100% rate teams have at converting their SoT into goals. No criticism of WBA.@@samwoodward2676

The Maidstone United team win in the FA cup showed all others how to breakdown the Ipswich defense. Speed on a longball counter attack.
To be fair, they have a lot of talent going forward but that defence never needed Maidstone’s help in working it out , my granny could do that
That was a freak result

@Lordouison good luck to Leeds in the play offs!!!🤣
Finding the right angle to volley between 7 or 8 men is insane
If the goalie hadn't got a hand on it, the defender behind him would've cleared it. 🤷🏽♂️
@@timothypye901now I see it. Unfortunate for west brom, no wonder the defender looked so frustrated

😂 If you didn’t have to take a tactical foul everytime we countered you we’d have won 4-2 . Pillock 🤣
Tom fellows is some player going to go far
Once defences figure out that he has no left foot, I doubt it.

West Brom players all on the ground at the end, totally exhausted. Ipswich would have won that if there had been another 5 mins played.

Waaay too many goals. We've conceded nearly as many as QPR, and they're 22nd in the league.@@michaelwinter7136
They're in a league with 3 Man Citys
They got promoted and against the odds look set for the playoffs

How was your draw against QPR? 😂
Mind the gap

Ipswich bottling it again.
Bottling what? They've been punching above their weight all season, they'll still finish top 6.
