I've actually read about this in the past, but I think there's a point where someone who is on treatment daily reaches an "undetectable viral load" of bodily fluids and at that point there is zero chance of transmitting HIV to a partner. Obviously I ain't no doctor but at one point I was curious and read a bunch of this stuff

We grew up by a neighbor 2 doors down that was HIV positive. He told me it's not safe to have sex with anybody anybody unless they are HIV positive themselves. He said it's not worth the risk To anybody no matter how much you love somebody. He had a lot of rules for people who came into his home To protect them No matter what his numbers showed. He's had it for a very long time and I believe every word he said along with all of his nurses.

It's only unsafe if you're not on treatment, which must have been the case with him. Also there are different strains of the disease, so if you catch someone else's, then that will ruin your health...

Im from a country where 1 in 5 are HIV positive. I know it seems weird but its honestly a must that before u do any of the nasty you ask about the person's status. There are very safe ways to be intimate with someone who has HIV. Hell our country is so bad that a college class about HIV is mandatory. Stigma around the virus has ruined people's lives....im negative tho

So I am in nursing school and we just got done studying HIV and testing over it. I have not heard of it being "untransmittable", I think that is misleading. There is always a chance, albeit very, very low if you are taking your medications and you have a low viral load.
