As someone who’s been working in retail and working around carts at our store, I can say he’s doing great at spreading the message
As a retail worker who has to bring carts in from the outside, I can't say how often people leave their carts out because they are lazy. I'm so glad there is a channel like this spreading awareness and making people do the right thing. Once in a blue moon I'll have people that would bring extra carts back with them, and clean up after people, which I really appreciate.

It's already bad enough that people don't put their carts back. But it's worse when they threaten you and embarrass you over a simple situation that could easily be solved. Sebastian is not doing anything wrong and he's putting himself on the line to expose people'e ego and how insecure they are to reveal what they did that was wrong. It's crazy how people would rather yell at someone, threaten them, and call them names for 10 minutes causing a huge scene for everyone to see, rather than doing the right thing that is a lot easier and just putting your cart back. It's such a simple solution to a problem that everyone makes so much harder to do.

I personally think that if your goal is to get people to return their carts, this isnt the way to go about it. Putting a sticker on someones car will make someone actively not want to listen to you. You should try to actually convince them instead of just trying to piss them off when you know that isnt gonna get them to ablige
You are not gonna convince these people with arguments to do anything. They need to be punished with annoyance like kids.

@@mikenike7315 Most of the time he goes up to people and kindly ask them to put their cart back they do it. But it's the 10% of people who go on a tantrum.
The tantrum normally starts when he puts a magnet on their cart. He only does it when they ignore him and try to drive off without putting their cart back.
You can't convince somebody who ignores you and drives off can you?

Do you honestly thing the people who ignore him and drive off will go the next day thinking "oh that dude told me to put my cart away yesterday, I might aswell do it today". The heck no. There was a reason they ignored you and drove off.
But if he puts a magnet on, they may think the next day that they should've put the cart back instead of wasting so much time and try to avoid a situation like that from ever happening.

@@mikenike7315 I know it's not gonna convince them. The point isn't to convince them that it's bad to leave your cart, they know it, it's to teach them a lesson so they'll think twice the next time they leave their cart.

If the person is in a rush they can say that or politely ask the cart narc to put it away. No need to yell and make a fus for a simple common decency task
On both ends it seems ridiculous. Dude is being an annoying Boy Scout and the person that’s not putting the cart back is getting angry over something that can be easily avoided.

@@jantejeda161 it’s not his job to push the carts himself though. It’s the responsibility of the person that takes the cart in the first place. He can’t be everywhere at once either, publicly shaming people for not doing it incentivizes them to do it in the future.
I’m sure he has his motives of getting views and thus getting money just as much as actually caring about the carts themselves, I just don’t see what he’s doing wrong ? He only antagonizes people when they don’t put the carts back, and even then they have full control to either take 20 seconds to put it back, or just to leave

If people wanna be lazy, make the jobs of employees harder, take of parking spaces others could use and risk having their cart role and hit someone else’s car, I don’t see any issues with somebody calling them out publicly. Especially when they have 2 very easy options to end the situation at all times

It’s also legally not harassment, otherwise there would be legal repercussions considering he literally films himself doing it.
Again, these people instigate the situation by being lazy. They then throw gas on the fire by making a big scene, arguing back, trying to get physical, etc, instead of simply driving away. There are two extremely easy solutions to end these situations before they even start

Also, I heard from a person who works at a grocery store that they like retrieving carts because it takes time, and gives them an opportunity to be away from the store for awhile.

i work at a local grocery store, this is one of my biggest pet peeves. I have to walk all around the parking lot looking for carts that are on the curbs and in-between cars. it would be a lot faster if everyone puts their carts in the cart return areas, but what u gonna do.
There are a lot of people that do put their carts back and even take multiple, and im thankful for them
I worked at walmart and I liked going outside to plug my earbuds in but when it was 90 degrees and people were just throwing carts anywhere, it got real annoying fast

I understand that as a common courtesy you should put your cart away but it’s also a common courtesy to hold doors and give up your seat to women and the elderly, are we going to have Seat Narcs on the public transit now?

I do appreciate this guy but I hope he takes precautions to stay safe. As a young woman who has worked in a smaller retail store people would just leave their carts all over the parking lot leaving me to go get them at the end of the night where there are no lights in the lot. There were times where I had creepy guys following me as I was collecting carts. Not only this, but carts cause damage to vehicles and take up parking spots as you guys said. People who just leave their carts wherever are very ignorant to how that can impact someone else's experience.
