I am giving my front entryway at my lake house an extreme room makeover and front door transformation! I was inspired to transform this space after completing my DIY IKEA KALLAX HACK Transformation! I am using it as shoe storage for this entryway and now I want to decorate, organize, and make this space more functional! I hope this gives you some entryway storage and decor ideas for your home! Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included czcams.com/users/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.

I'd love to see you style a library wall in an office or a bookcase area. We want to buy our first home at some point in the next year and we've always lived in rentals that we haven't been allowed to decorate, but I really want to create an office space if I can and I have a lot of books.
If you see her empty house walk through she has a room with built in bookshelves. I’m not sure they’re going to use it as an office but I’m excited to see how she styles it!

I too have a lot of books and use my office space as my work 'nest'. I want it practical, but also very cozy. SO when I sit at my desk I am immediately in the zone for my best work. I have found a variety of ways to distribute my books around the room from standing bookshelves to wide end tables that conceal some of my bulkier reference books, to wall mounted mini shelves.
This makes me want to paint my front door. I just don't know what color yet! I love how the kallax unit turned out. Everything is styled so beautifully
I love how everything turned out I’m thinking of putting some hooks in my entryway as well. The only thing I would change is the mirror for a more longer either oval or rectangular shaped one.

Wow, Kristen! I absolutely love what you did to your lake house entryway! The IKEA hack KALLAX transformation is really clever for storing shoes and looks so high end! Love the shoe organizers you placed inside of the cabinet, too (now I must purchase some to organize my shoes!). Love the wall hooks as well. You're so right about the mirror providing a different perspective of the space. You have quite a talent for bringing life and creativity into any space!
Love how the seat and wooden chain work together to add warmth to the space and draw out some of the warmer colors in the prints!
