Yeah and there are even more new pets that aren't even in this pack, and on top of that you can now create your own decks. It's so sick! The amount of variety we are about to have is insane.

I just want to play with all packs combined into one for ultimate Zane. Make the shop bigger and more lives and we're good. Wouldn't necessarily be balanced at all but with so many animals I can imagine it would be hard to have a consistent strategy anyway.
They can make it so that the pets you have in your squad have a higher shop weight, which would make them appear in the shop a bit more often
I mean over a large time scale this is kinda what the weekly pack is

I think they could do with a few more modes of play. A Chaos mode with all animals, a mode where you take damage based on how many animals are left on the enemy's squad or on animal attack/health, a ranked mode to change things up a bit

The lack if chocolate is making it harder, but also there are two times more pets in the pack also bloating the shops like crazy.

@@blahthebiste7924 Way worse. It evens out the distribution of HP and bigger units are always better than a couple of average units. Especially when it comes to HP. Both in regards to combat ability, and in regards to the amount of stats you lose from a sell. All the HP it was taking off the Panda was essentially getting lost, as it didn't have enough HP to survive an attack (so 1HP would have been just as good), it was decreasing the Panda's buff which was going to a strong pet that could survive attacks, and it meant all that HP was going to be lost on its sell.

YAK STRAT: If you're doing yak Koala never just level up the yak for the sake of leveling it up, it's just gonna kill itself faster and leave you yakless.
What you _should_ do is get your first Yak and then when you get another Yak FREEZE it until your Yak is a turn away from killing itself (2 or 3 HP if using Leech) then add the second Yak and you'll go from 2 HP all the way up to 7! Investing a cucumber in your yak is also probably worth it but not totally necessary if you have better things to spend your money on (which you usually will btw you just need to know what to spend it on).
Hot take -> Create a small chance for shiny animals that have no physical or ability change but just look different.

They should add an animal or a passive fruit that makes an attack have a 50% to push the current opponent back 1 space. For how many animals have push triggers I feel like there aren’t enough animals that actually push
There was two with push triggers and two with push. They removed the push trigger from toad so now it’s one with push trigger and two with push. It’s not unbalanced.
Even so I do agree with you. I would love to see more push triggers and push pets/food.
I am interested to see NL mess around with a custom deck. I want to see what he cooks up.

Grapes can make it somewhat easier to level up pets because they give you more rolls. Obviously there is some downside because you can't equip certain other foods.
I think they need to bring chocolate into this pack to be more balanced. Idk why but it feels like there too many animals to the point where it’s way too hard to level them
I like NL's idea of random chocolate. Or maybe a salad-esque XP boost, but it can't level units, or only hits tier 1s? Just ideas. Definitely an XP food is needed

I've gone up against a couple of people, who put a woodpecker at the very front with a toad at the back, which makes sure that the first two pets are weakened before your buffest unit comes through. Also idk what their gonna do to nerf panda, considering it is by far the best tier 1 unit in deck 3. Seems that in the current sprouting meta it's either vulture+summon builds or huge panda behind a unit that has a good ability, and since the vulture has already been nerfed by putting it as a tier 6, the panda is probably gonna be the most common pet to be seen in deck 3.
Honestly, can someone even explain to me why panda is good? Unless you get to tier 3 you're buffing a unit that gives either half or all of it's stats to the friend in front of it, while you could instead just be buffing the unit in front of it anyways to begin with from the start (only way this is less efficient is when wide scaling is priority). It feels like it's just better to have a 5th unit that does something consistently for the team instead of a self sacrificial unit whom I'm throwing stats on when I could throw them on someone else
@@Stupiddude17 what you are missing is you can start buffing a panda round one, while you cant start buffing a tier 5 or 6 unit until much much later. it lets you also choose dynamically what gets the buff, instead of being stuck with like a t2/t3 unit the whole game. Quite often winning squads will have 1-3 trash units in the back just buffing others, thats basically the role panda fills.

I do really enjoy the idea of a team consisting of stuff like Blobfish/Pug/Clownfish, a team that focuses on levelling mid-combat is really cool

@Northernlion Do you think experience giving animals might be underrated ( there are ways to pop the effects permanently too like faint during buy phase etc). They usually have such bad stats that they are ignored but it might worth looking into early exp options to juice scalers.

Once NL learns how combining animals works he will do so much better! Knowledge of combining mechanics is essential for this pack.
Remember, when you combine animals you get the highest HP of either and the highest attack of either, then +1/+1. So a 2/4 and a 4/2 can be combined into a 5/5!

Don’t you want to place a toad before an iguana so the pushed pet gets weak before it gets damaged? Or am I missing something?
Triggers like the toad and iguana are resolved in order of who has the highest attack stat. Order is sadly irrelevant to the order. Only way to trigger toad first is to make sure it has more attack than iguana
Animals act according to attack strength is what you're missing I believe.

I think one of your biggest issues in this set is freezing your entire shop on round 2. Getting an early unit that scales such as a koala would be better if you could get it on round 3 and then start scaling it by round 4. The panda also isnt something that deserves a spot on the team for very long.
What’s the point of cockroach? It’s decent stats for tier 1 with a downside
Stats are on par with seahorse with actually has a good effect. I feel like the cockroach should be a 2 4 with the same effect. It was start as a 2 4 but after one turn would go back to being a 1 4
@@Nickskates96 it should just stay a 2/4. Ant is worth 6 stat points and humming bird is kinda worth 6 (4->8). A 1/4 is actually worse than a 2/3 too.
