Also it like my cousin he has a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT in red that he got it in May of this year and it still and very nice shape and low miles he said when he got it had 124,000 miles on it and has the 4.0 V6 and it 4 wheel drive i rode in it when me and my family went to vist them in WI back in Oct and my cousin it rust free when i rode in it had over 141,000 miles on it he loves he has lots of plans to do with it
My buddy has one of these and we beat the hell out of it! We jumped it and everything still looks new and he still drives it everyday lol it uses a hint of coolant though so were gonna investigate that but his still runs strong!
Hey Daniel! Nice ranger!! Did you ever check out my 89 first gen with a 2.9 and 4x4? I don't have the best video up yet but I gots what I gots lol. I really like the look and thought about it for mine but I thought it would kill my gas millage and mine will also be a daily driver. The 89 I have is from Virginia so its got very minor rust on it. Btw I can't get over how that truck looks!
Oh... btw, maybe the check engine light was when the iac valve went bad and was replaced. Try disconnecting the battery for a couple of mins and check for the light!!!
I just got one of these with the same kit and same size tires and same bar in the back I got my for 500$ Got it home and got it running after 3 years Mys grey tho mys got rust tho mys got 143 k miles
hi nice truck and good luck if your going to put your radio in this one please buy the install kit it's 12 dollars don't butcher your wiring like the last one i'm not hating i like your vids!
Bryce Eisner I have a 2011 4.0 sohc runs like a champ and you do not hear about the timing chain issues in the newer sohc engines. The 2001 -2004 were bad years for that problem.
Rusty Shackleford i wish a leak was my problem.. my 99 ranger has terrible rust (there’s literally holes inside the truck floor some places), no a/c, bad shocks and struts, no gauges work, only speedometer works on dash.
It seems very weird that over the years Ford never really changed anything about the Rangers we have a 2010 model and its almost identical to that one, my personal opinion is if they were changed stuff with the Rangers they would have been more popular and maybe they'll be still building them, I think they should have built a 4-Door Ranger, and not just the half doors like our 2010 for full size doors and a real backseat, not just those very comfortable jump seats.
Ford still builds rangers but they are sold overseas the new ones are 4 door and they mad older models that are 4 door but they we not legal in the USA
Absolutely beautifull truck man. 4 litre standard transmission is the way to go, The only thing Id suggest you is to get the radio bezel with the fog light switch, to operate the lower valance fog lights. It would give your interior a nice clean oem look. Check this tutorial I made at The Ranger Station, I made the setup from scratch by myself, hope its helpfull for you: www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=161321 Beautifull truck... keep it this way man!!!!
Glad to see that you upgraded from the little Ranger!
Love the truck man! Keep up the great work!
Nice find!! Congrats.

Nice truck, man I love for Rangers
That's a nice truck man!

funny how the tires look so big on that but the excursions are almost if not the same size height wise
Dan, those are bad ass! love the vid!
Those tie down bed rails, any idea where those are from?
Nice truck bro, do you know where I can get that light bar?
Also it like my cousin he has a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT in red that he got it in May of this year and it still and very nice shape and low miles he said when he got it had 124,000 miles on it and has the 4.0 V6 and it 4 wheel drive i rode in it when me and my family went to vist them in WI back in Oct and my cousin it rust free when i rode in it had over 141,000 miles on it he loves he has lots of plans to do with it
Love your tuck man, I really do!
Please keep it that way, stock!
Did your daughter got used to the manual transmission?
My buddy has one of these and we beat the hell out of it! We jumped it and everything still looks new and he still drives it everyday lol it uses a hint of coolant though so were gonna investigate that but his still runs strong!
Nice truck but open your damn door! Carbon monoxide man!
Bear Grylls Yeah! Plus i wanna see the truck from a bit of distance
Do the tires rub?
My 1993 Explorer doesn't leak. My 93 Ranger only leaks a bit of power steering.

Anybody got any information about the roll bar in the back?
lol, think it would fit a 61, 430 Lincoln engine?
Such an awsome truck congrats!
Is the engine a 4.0 v6 or small block v8?
it's a v6
You can roll in to the club like whaddup i got a diff lock haha
Oh... btw, maybe the check engine light was when the iac valve went bad and was replaced. Try disconnecting the battery for a couple of mins and check for the light!!!

kicks deal bud
my 1983 ford f100 leaks but when you turn her off
What happend to your 1997 Ford Ranger do you still have it or did you see it?? but you have a very nice truck there!!
What offset r u running?
Do a test drive of it
so you have the silverado, the 95 Ranger, and the Excursion right? do you personally own anything else?
Well the Excursion is the family one the Chevy is his dads i think and i think he sold his 97 Ford Ranger then got this one i think!!
Steven Lebbing oh that would make since
hi nice truck and good luck if your going to put your radio in this one please buy the install kit it's 12 dollars don't butcher your wiring like the last one i'm not hating i like your vids!
Bet that overheating because the thermostat is bull pop, its the head gasket.
The sohc ain't that bad

any rubbing?
Make a video of your tool box
Only thing about my ranger 4.0 is it leaks oil, from the tensioner, and the pan and the rear end leaks😒
Rusty Shackleford i wish a leak was my problem.. my 99 ranger has terrible rust (there’s literally holes inside the truck floor some places), no a/c, bad shocks and struts, no gauges work, only speedometer works on dash.
OHV May be slower but it’s one hell of a better engine than the sohc

It nice now because they are making rangers again they also have a four door which is basically a raptor ranger
i was just thinking the same then checked all these dates 😂
ok but why not show the truck form outside so we can actually see what it looks like? The whole video is useless based on the title.
Not all fords are leak free, my dads 2002 f250 is leaking oil like crazy
I watched a Ford F-150 shit it's transmission fluid out of the bottom because the factory pinched the seal
i think that shitty 4.0 sohc v6 came out in 1997
