This series is amazing!! Thank you so much! :))
Thanks for the tips. Awesome stuff. Love the way you train. It’s perfect.
Lol, I went through all of the garage band stuff on this channel, it was SUPER helpful. Got Logic about 2 months ago and wished The Band Guide had these videos for Logic because he did such a good job on the Garage Band stuff... looks like I wasn't patient enough. Excited to see the roll out!
Super helpful. Learning so much from these tutorials. Thanks.
Lots of people say "the best ever" too lightly, I think THIS is the best thing ever. Anders for the win!!!
Very Cool!!!! Thank you for making these!!!
Thx for the help man! Two things I learned: Did not know I could scroll over to find more drummers and love the cut up section thing to add fills
The crazy thing is…I’ve already known most of this stuff…but I can never resist watching every minute your videos.
They’ve helped me immensely for a long time now. And I always feel like there will be some thing new to catch.
Please keep em coming 🎸
I use Studio one as my DAW, but I use garage band drummer and import it into Studio One. It works great, I love the simplicity of it.
Right? SUPER powerful tool and yet still easy to use
Cheers Colin!
Very good video. Now i know how to use fills.
Nice one! 👍 I love Drummer! I am really curious about the next big update, will they be adding something to Drummer.. That'd be awesome. Maybe one day I will end up selling SSD5 and BFD3! I really like the idea of having everything inside Logic.
I saw Drummer in action for the 1st time 2 months ago. We tracked a song and I was blown away. I started on Logic back in the C-Lab days... latency was still 4096 lol. Then worked on hardware recorders. When I started teaching, Pro Tools with Digidesign but I didn't like Avid taking over... I then settled for Studio One... no on v5.. and never thought of switching until I saw this.... Game changer.
That you're a drummer makes it all the more attractive. How did they do this?
I like plugging my v-drums into the kits in Logic .. sounds great to my ears. I've been tooling with Drummer for years and I use it on everything at least to get started when trying to eek out a song. I don't like tweaking midi for drums so I hand play my parts once I'm ready for a final track. Even though Drummer doesn't land on a final track ... I'm still using it at some point.
try moving bar 1 earlier into the previous bar makes fir great transitions
Just starting out with this series, but I just wanted to thank you as you basically taught me how to use GarageBand and now hopefully improve my Logic Pro X skills. Keep up the content, and I'm always routing for Broke Royals!
HELLL YEAH, Niikko!! "I was cold in the summer" still comes on my shuffle and I definitely never skip it. Looking forward to hearing what you do next!
My favourite feature of both Logic and GB.
Agreed! But you already know that, John haha.
I've been using midi for my drums and I should've been using this it seems way better
Hey Colin, thanks for this bite-size series. This is exactly what was lacking around Logic Pro instructional videos. Subscribed to your channel and liked this video.
Beats presets: why can’t I save my own custom?
