    Nice tip on cleaning the laces. I never really thought of that. All of your steps were good and many people miss the cleaning and leather conditioning. I also use Lexol, it’s the best and they have the science and history behind the product to back up their claim as the best conditioner, I would say one thing though. NEVER use the shoe polish you used. Although liquid polish can put a fast shine on shoes, I warn against it because it does cause the leather to dry out and crack. It’s essentially instant undoing the conditioning you performed and drying out the leather. If I had my boots or dress shoes being worked on by a goblet and I saw them using that liquid polish, I’d never come back. Always use a high quality wax!!!
    After you cleaned and conditioned, I’d recommend rubbing in Obenauf Heavy Duty LP, or Huberd’s shoe grease for further nourishing and protecting the leather. The ingredients of both products provide a time released nourishment, protectant and antibacterial properties as you use the boots. After that, I recommend polishing with a HIGH QUALITY cream shoe polish like Saphir’s Cream Shoe Polish.

    Good video and I could be wrong but I think you’re supposed to go over the leather with a damp cloth after the Lexol cleaner application and then once it’s all cleaned off you apply the conditioner. You still did a good job though 👍. I use obenaufs myself as the person under my comment mentioned.

    Do you use the white kiwi polish for sneakers and the soles? Like if they are a bit yellow and it doesn’t really come off with other methods.

    • @rnzynow
      @rnzynow  Před 3 lety

      We haven’t tried that yet because we normally don’t source shoes that are yellowing BUT that does sound like an idea that might work. Let us know how it turns out 🤝🤝

    • @Yanelyshm
      @Yanelyshm Před 3 lety

      @@rnzynow I tried it and it came out amazing. It was slightly yellowish. Like I’ve noticed that the adidas with the textured rubber soles (ultra boost/alphabounce) get really yellow towards the bottoms. It’s a sheer polish so it’s was easy to apply. I was afraid that if the customer throws it in wash it would immediately remove. Obviously I don’t want it to look like I lied about the condition. But I just looked it and though it might fade slightly, it should still keep for a couple of washes I think. Just sold my first pair after having used this so hopefully he is happy with it!

    Great video again! Quick question. Have a customer every complained that they got black paint on their hands from the purchase? Maybe it'll be more problematic in hotter weather when paint melts? When I've sourced leather dress shoes, I've noticed couple of them had already been painted on and got paint all over my hand. Just a thought as usual. Thanks as always!

    • @rnzynow
      @rnzynow  Před 4 lety +1

      If done properly the polish doesn’t come off on your hands when it’s dry. It’s not paint....it’s polish. We’ve never had any customer complaints. Appreciate your question 🤙🤙

    I know it differs from brand to brand, but how long does it take for the average shoe to sell on Poshmark? Taking into consideration it's a top 20 bolo brand in good condition and priced competitively?

    • @rnzynow
      @rnzynow  Před 4 lety

      Stevens McClure 75% of our inventory sells within 30 days and 90% within 90 days. You’re right though there is a lot of variables mixed in that could alter those numbers....for better or worse.
