Morrissey is a legend, he wrote, and I quote.... “You shut your mouth, how can you say? I go about things the wrong way I am human and I need to be loved JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE DOSE” : ) Smiles
I had tickets to see Morrissey when he toured Australia in the early 1990's. He did the Brisbane show then cancelled the rest of the Australian concerts, claiming he had sinusitis. I still reckon to this day he chucked a collossal tanti about something and flounced off home. Bona Drag is still one of my all time favourite albums. There's not a bad song on it.
Oh yeah I remember that in '91. Triple J announced the cancellation, Morrissey flew out of the country and everyone who had tix went off the rails for the next week. It was a huge talking point particularly for Sydneysiders who were just about to see him. He returned in 2002 to play 'Livid' in Sydney, skulked on stage w everybody going manic in the crowd and into the microphone he slurred "Hellooo therrrre, Syd ...."
Been to Australia and got family in Australia I found and the Aussies to be very ignorance as I was from England no one the most f***** off and left the Australian tour,
I had second-row tickets for the Smiths at Sunrise Musical Theatre (near Ft. Lauderdale, FL), in '86-'87, and the band canceled on the day of the show because Moz had "strep throat." Nobody believed it...
@officialmorrissey_. very good idea...im impressed. Though ive Never been to a concert, i often listen to your music. Moves me so much...im near Montreal in Canada.
I ve been a fan since the 80s. My friend Pascal put a tape in the car and said you gotta listen to the Smiths...i immed. Fell in love with the music...
I was watchin game of thrones and this song popped in to my head, except with the lyrics, "He's the last of famous, iron island greyjoys", yes I'm a weirdo.

Morrissey is the last of the famous international critical thinkers and intellectuals, I'm thankful he still walks the earth.
U n ME both xxxx
spot on!
He's a joke lmfao.
Critical thinker! what a line of BS.
@@85Funkadelic Um... your narcissism is showing. #gross

i remember this era when the NME were giving him shit reviews. well time has told that moz was always good. shallow journalists dont know their music
@wizzolf schaferhund New -Morrissey- Music Express
Enn emm eee
NME was always shit
🗣 They (Enemy) we’re trying to recreate the 70’s wave of ‘Rock against racism!’
They fell straight on their bespectacled faces!💯
There's a long history of overlap between the NME and the SWP, and it shows...
Morrissey is a legend, he wrote, and I quote....
“You shut your mouth, how can you say?
I go about things the wrong way
I am human and I need to be loved
JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE DOSE”
: ) Smiles
Dose? Probably lol 🤣👍
*_The Smiths_* or MØS?
@@davida.quinnsr.8847 I find that I like more of the smiths than morrisey.. Even New Order's lyrcics are great.. but MOS, he's a great one for sure..
One of the greatest songs ever recorded. I just love Morrissey ❤
I think this has to be his best song
@morrissey-ly6ry stop pretending you're actually Morrissey
Rest is peace, Andy.
Heard this today in the vehicle played Very LOUD... stunning production, love the chord structure & clear drums
EVERYDAY IS LIKE SUNDAY, TOTAL CLASSIC FOR MORRISSEY.
It's always nice to see Andy and Mike playing with Moz
Such nice hair.
30 years on jesus Moz was so good back then. He rarely made any misjudgments musically.
This song Was written 20 years ago but its about me. Everything. Its all about me
This song lives in my head rent free 😌

Great song, killer lyrics and awesome message :)
@@denisgreenhalgh6903 From your writing ability, I have formed the view that you are very ignorance
How does Morrissey Go Down In Oz???
Viva Morrissey...adore his talent! ❤❤❤❤❤❤from Canada.😅😊
@officialmorrissey_. an honour meeting you too. Love abs. All your songs. 🤩🤩
@officialmorrissey_. very indeed...my friend and i are huge fans of yours. Tx for responding.

I ve been a fan since the 80s. My friend Pascal put a tape in the car and said you gotta listen to the Smiths...i immed. Fell in love with the music...
So many to choose from...most of them. But intl. Playboy is on my top 10 list.
I was watchin game of thrones and this song popped in to my head, except with the lyrics, "He's the last of famous, iron island greyjoys", yes I'm a weirdo.

"Have I failed?'
I love his dry wit so much
Morrissey has canceled two concerts on me one was a 600 mile round trip and I was half way there when I got the call that it was canceled. And here I am listening.
I saw him in Vancouver late 2019
Walked out, load of crap
And I've been a Smiths fan from UK since my first record purchase as a 13 year old in 88
Morrissey is still THE last of the famous international playboys!
🗣👍

@@JPond-wi9wv I don't really understand the relevance, or what's wrong with being socially cognizant.
@@sidneymcadorey1412 being socially aware is one thing, but this whole woke thing is going too far. Having biological men compete in women's sports is just plain nuts.
"Oh, I can't help quoting you,/'Cause everything that you've said rings true..." SO MUCH! This is the best song about wanting to be an outlaw - of wanting to live a wild glamorous romantic life, and of getting that mixed up with the idea of outlawry - that I've ever heard. God bless Morrissey for articulating the poisonous debilitating glamour of the outlaw life, and of the paralysis that can come from longing to act on desires that you know better than to act on.
The one and only musical genius that is Morrissey!!
This was the first ever vinyl I bought when you could buy them off the rack in the corner shop .... great song
Probably the best song he ever did and he has many.
This is my favorite song ever I vibe with it so much it makes me happy when I am sad it just brings my mood up and morrissey is my favorite singer hes just so good at it i thank my Step dad for showing me him and the Smiths
Well said Olivia💯

Época de ouro. Anos 80 . Morrissey para sempre

Here's the story of how i got into this a girl from my college told me she has a crush on Morrissey i had heard about a certain vegan egocentric 60 year old man that wrote songs and whose lyrics were studied and a band of wich academics wrote papers aboutand tought to myself what's tbe big deal about this guys are they that good? after that i listened to The Smiths almost nonestop for 5 days they were that good
This is what's just happened with me an the guy I like. He doesn't like me back BUT I found amazing music so its okay
