Funnily enough Dimash said the same thing. After his first appearance on the Singer show they had to go out and film a documentary piece and he was surrounded by new fans, he says he has never forgotten the face of the first woman who approached him.

Dimash talks about the first time anyone made a fuss over him in public. After his first performance on the Chinese Singer competition(he sang SOS and won the first round), the next day they had to go out and socialize a little. He talks about leaving his hotel and there were two security people waiting for him, to escort him. He thought he did something wrong and couldn’t think of why he would need security. When they got to the market place, “Aunties”(Dimash’s word for older women than him)came running up to him. He said he still remembers the first woman’s face. He’s had security ever since. He was literally an overnight wonder in China and that spread to the rest of the world.

If you like Dimash it is good to know that is multy talented to the extreme and that he is a master in everything. He can also sing different music genres, dance, play at least 8 instruments and sing in 16 languages. And that are only some of the things he can do.
