About Swami Vivekananda:

Thank you for this video. I regularly enjoy your content but I rarely comment. Your content helps motivate me whenever I lose myself to maya. I recall Sri Ramakrishna once saying that the ego (false self or false I-sense) is only destroyed (i.e. the veil is removed) by God (true Self) when he finds that the disciple has attained the right maturity and humility. I am paraphrasing his words here. Ramakrishna used to say the person with 'zero guile' (purity of mind/heart) will easily attain God-realisation (Self-realisation).

Also taking about guile... I have had an insight that subtly everytime I perform an action/karma of selfishness in the slightest degree it is like a demons claws emergingg from my heart to clasp something and entangle me. Even these comments to a tiny degree feels like apart from humbly imparting something that may help is also looking for a bit of attention (the like button!) the demon living in my heart may want to check back in a while to see if any likes came :) But seriously it is amazing how many times we do or say subtle things which have an element of selfishness in it. I can say the result of my last 2 years Sadhana and learning is that I can at least recognise these now to an extent ... previously I was completely ignorant of my selfishness

The ego can never be found. There are a series of habits, thoughts, likes and dislikes that we have attached ourselves to. That package of collected impressions is what seems like an egoic personality. But, in reality, it never really solidifies as an entity. However, the constant attachment to those habits, desires, thoughts, beliefs and feelings, leave their impression on our body. How the body appears is a reflection of our thinking process. Cease to think, and the body appears like a conduit for spirit. Spirit shines through the body with no attachments. A beautiful appearance, indeed.

Karma and rebirth are the ego's game. The ego's skill in this game is called the delusion of responsibility. Postmortem justice is a lie invented by religions to appease the minds of the vengeful who were angry that those who did them wrong were not punished. So the church said, "don't you worry God will get them." It's a lie and it's the reason your ego will never go away.
There are 3 I's.
First I is for ordinary people, this I is formed from the consciousness of the organs.
Second I is for people of high calibre who have taken control of their lives, this I is in the Solar Plexus, it is in one single place.
Third I is for awakened people this is in forehead ajna.
This is the answer, people who are sensitive can feel these things inside.
It is amazing that after thousands of years nobody answers these questions, this is because human beings are deeply unintelligent.

Sages say, through selfless action and meditation.
