Hi, I still had air getting into the system after hose/pipe and banjo changes, so I contacted a zetor parts supplier and he said it is actually pretty common and what he does is install a tigerloop. I have made this conversion and have to say, what a difference, Starts so easy now and as the tigerloop bleeds the air out of the system itself, you don't have to worry at all. My tractor never started easy and this has changed the game! Take the feed from the fuel tank, insert it to the tiger loop feed, then one outward feed to the hand primer, and the return to the fuel tank from the pump goes to the tigerloop. You close off the pipe that goes back to the fuel tank as it is not needed. I used an M10 bolt and a jubilee clip. Then just make a small bracket to attach to your battery box for example and your set. Here is the link to their website, if you need it I can give you the parts supplier details since he can sell directly to you.

Hi, I've never heard of a Tigerloop before, but they look very interesting. Are very available here ( England ) ?

well certainly the guy from the Zetor parts place I used could sell and send you one. here is the web site link and just write him a message explaining your model and that you are interested in the tigerloop. He will send you the unit and some hoses and jubilee clips and all you have to do is make a small bracket to mount it on the tractor and its installed in about 30 mins. Not a big job. Attaching the bracket is the biggest job, then its just swapping the hoses onto it. Here is his website link.

Pity you can't post pics here, but it is really simple to fit and it works a treat.

Was that with/without the cold-start button pushed in..? Thanks for the vid by the way. Gareth.

Hi, no, my 7245 hasn't got a cold start button. It was a bit longer turning over than it normally is, but normally I give it 4-5 pumps on the hand primer before starting, but I wanted to see if the fuel system had held a prime - which I think it had. Just glad it have it working again, 3 weeks without it and the grass is 4ft high! Thanks for watching.

How big a job is it to swap the hoses?

Hi, it turned out to be a lot bigger job than it should of been! It should have been undo the two banjo fittings, replace the pipe, do up the banjos, bleed the fuel system and all done. Unfortunately, I had to remove one of the other banjos to gain access, which then leaked , I had to undo another one to fix that one and one thing lead to another and I had to replace all the washers on every banjo fitting on the whole fuel system! Not a lot of fun. At one point I had fuel pouring from every joint and thought it would never be right again! Got there in the end though.

Zetor 7245 Thanks for the update, I am going through similar with my 7045. Have had the hand primer converted to the Bosch unit, as the original one was terrible, go over a bump and it would leak. So that's changed but hoses are gone, so waiting on them coming from a Zetor specialist and will replace them and bleed the system. Has never been a good starter, even in summer, so hoping this finally does it. Apparently it's pretty common on them, the parts supplier knew all about it. Am hoping its not too big job as it's went very cold now, the access to the area is more awkward due the supports for the front loader.
