Prayers for Anna (Sookie) . Was obsessed with the Charlene Harris books before it was made into True Blood, then I became a huge fan of that show and the actors in it. 🙏🏻
Holy crud she has such an accent… I never knew Anna had such an accent. So cool.
Their on-screen romance in True Blood didn't end after the first season (of course) but during that early phase, whenever they made love I'd cry. Love the show for so many things, but that, that was a seed crystal for my dopamine-ergic brain-state throughout the series.
I'm so glad they're still happy together, and hope her health gets better. (HBOT? Recently linked to lengthening telomeres and other health benefits, and you can own a hyperbaric chamber for home use)

With AI, it never has to end. As a Canadian who lived many formative years in New Zealand moving to the US at 16, developing more of an American accent She’s definitely picked up very odd British accent living in the UK. I couldn’t pin point where she was from if I ran into her on the street and heard her speak.

Last two seasons of true blood were sadly the worst. Had they been better written. I think the show could’ve given the closure that the fans needed. If they were considering a reboot, I would try to cling more closely to the source material (the southern vampire mysteries). We need to remember that Eric was the sheriff for that particular region. It’s my understanding in the books Bill worked under Eric giving him the rank of detective, so Bill was a detective. I would push that they work that angle so that fans are getting the characters they love, but are also getting something different from the previous show.
THE 1ST 2 SEASONS WERE THE WORST. THE ENDING SCENE WAS AWFUL.
THE ONLY PREVAILING ISSUE WAS THE INABILITY TO WRAP STORYLINES BY SEASON'S END.
